I never make these threads, but my friends band needs help

Hey,

I am reaching out to see if any of my fellow BHW'ers can help out on this request.

My friends band counterpunch is looking to play at Chicago's Riot Fest. Its a huge punk-rock fest here in chicago (with big name bands like Offspring, Rise Against, AWOLNation, etc and would be amazing exposure for them. They are a legit band who definitely deserve this opportunity.

They are hurting pretty bad in the rankings currently. But if anyone can help out and up-vote them, this would be so much help.

And I think its great your supporting your friends like this. I have 2 best friends and only one actually encourages me with my music. ^^

I do not have proxies too, but voted for them with my facebook account. I actually liked the song. BTW isn't it good idea to code the link, where people could vote?

Hey guess what I just realised this weekend...Jennifer Lopez was 30 when her first single came out. There you go! Now I feel better about myself too, being 23 and just getting started.

 

just wanted to personally thank everyone who has even made just one up-vote to this contest. I know musically they are not what every one likes, but this is their passion and they all would love to quit their 9-5 job to pursue this
