Hi guys,

I already know about clickbank more than 4 years, but i never make a single sale from them. I promote their product on off. This is how i promote the product. Please advise.

1. Find product that very specific niche with low gravity (1-3)
2. Setup a blog and personally write the content (my english not very good)
3. Drive traffic using Bing (try using adword but my site not comply to their policy)
4. Wait for a few month for google to index my website (not sure about this)
5. Never done SEO to that website.

I know most of the guru said that i need to catch email. But my budget very limited plus i never make a sale so i didn't have any confidence to subscribe email marketing provider like aweber or getresponse.

So my intention to create new thread is to discuss what is the most cost effective for us newbie to make our first sale. The are a few question that i desperately want a good answer.

1. Do we need a landing page or blog? (any hit and run marketing for startup?)
2. How to promote your clickbank using facebook ads? Do we need to create a blog / article? Then drive traffic to that article? Can that article have a affiliate link?

Please help. Thank you

I hear you on making a few or no sales but I will ad that far as gravity, make sure it's 7 and above, make sure landing page is decent and avoid pages with opt in ads and focus on hot selling niches.

How you define decent landing page? Is it one long article page or a blog with a few article post?

1. Gravity should be above 7 generally.
2. English is NOT good. Your audience don't trust you and your writing. You need a copywriter.
3. Bing or adwords or fb ads doesnt matter if you dont optimize your landing page and don't select good keywords.

Those 3 above should be enough to bring you a couple of sales. At last do SEO for free organic sales.

Same here but I did not try much. Think of getting free ways to get traffic to your blog like answering Question on Quora and then leaving a ling to your blog.
What ways did you try that you didnt get sale?
Also, how much was your conversion rate when you answered on Quora and left link?

I worked for few hours only. I have all that organised in a folder to resume if I decide to. Method was similar to what I suggested above.
Did you not try any other methods and paid methods too?

Also, regarding Quora, yesterday a question had around 1100 views and I answered and it got 2 views but the question views kept on going like 1200, 1300 and more but my answer view stayed at 2 views and I was the only one to answer. So, what does that mean when the question views are increasing but not the answer?

1) No.
2) Most probably it is collapsed. Visit the question link after logging out or logging in from another account. Do you see the answer then ?

No no, at that time when I answered, I was the first one. It was after 15-20 mins that a second answer was posted. But in between the 15-20 mins, I noticed the question views were getting higher but my answer views were not increasing.

I got some sales with Bing + ClickBank and also FB Ads + ClickBank but everything with a negative ROI because I didn't further optimize my campaigns

How did you promote? Directly send your audience to sale page?

No, I made a Landingpage and put my affiliate Links there. Afaik a LP converts better than direct linking to the sales page.

That is only because you are filtering the people who are slightly interested from people who are really interested. You would get more sales directly linking.

How your landing page work? Is it one page website with long article?
Or one website with a few different article?

If a product has 200+ gravity would it be worth my time promoting it?

Trust. That seems to be the most effective way at selling affiliate products without spending a lot of money. My biggest problem is that I have a short attention span and you need to be consistent when building trust.

The fastest way to build trust with cold traffic is through videos with a live person. I believe review and tutorial videos are the highest converting method for affiliate product. I have always thought about doing a diet or muscle building journey using a clickbank product and documenting it on Youtube, adding a link leading to my own blog/landing page since I think youtube dislikes videos than direct link to clickbank products.
