Ok I have a facebook page running a pure affiliate links site with categories electronics, gadgets, smartphones and sale. I have over 2k likes and I got them using free and paid traffic (facebook ads) Now I just posted a promotion which is something similar to other pages like free giveaways. Well, to be specific I posted that I am giving away 100 units of Samsung Galaxy S8 with instructions to like my page and share to many people as they want to get a chance to win. I got so many shares and likes in an instant. I mean just 15 minutes after posting that I got over 500+ shares and comments and they're following to my promotion. My pain point: I am running a legit affiliate site which they can buy a smartphone and gadget promos. And as you can see I can't give that 100 units of Samsung s8. I just copied that strategy just like what other pages are doing and made that post just to have a quick experiment. There are some people in the groups of course that are really skeptical because of that post. It's really too good to be true. But the good thing here is THIS IS 10X MORE ENGAGEMENT than running a Facebook ads. Actually, this is my first time seeing this. My questions: • Is there anything I can do to maximize the shares, likes and engagement leading them to my affiliate site and hoping for conversions? • I'm sure some people will find out that my post is really too good to be true so my facebook page is in the red flag for some people. How to fix this? • Is there any more methods to make free traffic like this but in a more legitimate and engaging way? Your response will be greatly appreciated!
