I need to redo an old website. Is it going to fuck up my SEO?

I have a website I made 3 years ago where I sell a physical product.

I did everything by hand Dreamweaver.

It's pretty cool, but it's looking a bit dated now. I'd like to upgrade it to WordPress or something just for ease of making global changes.

If I do this, how much of a risk am I running of fucking up my rankings. I'm ranking pretty well for most of my keywords right now.

If I keep pretty much the same content on each page, will Google basically ignore the formatting stuff, menus, etc.? Cuz content is what matters most, right?

In the event that my rankings take a drop, can I just reupload a copy of the current version and get my rankings back?
