Hello!
My country is totally fucked up. If you want to know why, feel free to read this article from "The Economist": http://www.economist.com/world/europe/displaystory.cfm?story_id=12815635

I see no potential in staying in this country and I want to move to somewhere where there would be good environment for establishing a business. Low taxes and low prices is also what I am looking for.

In case my IM ventures do not succeed I still want to be able to find a good paying job. English skills are not a problem.

Not really sure what to do, just want to get out of this swamp.

You could move to Estonia... at least your friends will be near

If you are smart and good looking - move next door to me in England.

If you are neither, then New Zealand is a good place.

heh

best,

Rudy

Russia seems to have no recognized copyright law. There are some highly profitable sites over there that can only work there or poss far east.

US seems to be the place to be for IM everything I look at over there pays out more than anywhere else.

;)

well i'm moving to England shortly even though they have
the Big Brother prob getting out of hand.......
:Thinkingo

I wouldn't want to be in Europe now or in the next five years, I left my home country in Europe (My personal reasons as a Mystic and Businessman, which I don't want to discuss tho)... move to Australia, Modern India, or buy your own private Island :) Go to Russia/Switzerland if you HAVE to go to Europe though, or any nation that is NOT in the EU. Do not fool with Asia, and if you choose to go in America then go Texas. I wish I could tell you ethnic division doesn't exist, but it does... goes somewhere that you're going to be able to enjoy. Also, if you are sure you can strike it rich, go to modern Venezuela.

In Russia it's not strict or tight when it comes to internet freedom, the economy is great and all, and when the Western world moves Russia doesn't follow, it's also very democratic despite any other perspective, the government are very loyal to it's people too. I left for my personal reasons though.

Estonia - too near in my opinion. Yes, it has better situation than Latvia but still in my eyes it seems too low (look at the graphic in my link). England - many people already went there, but somehow I don't like weather, brits in general and don't think I would feel good living in that country and there would be lots of competition if I would be looking for a job. Russia - no way. I have contacts in Russia and if I would want to establish IM business, I would not have to live there to do it. Canada seems like a good alternative and so Australia. I heard Singapure has good potential and GOA state of India supports very cheap living. You earn 10$ a day and you are a king lol.

Still would like to hear more tips and opinions.

My vote is for

In russia you could do allmost anything you want o_O. Australia / New zealand are quite peaceful places i think ? atleast we never hear anything about them so i assume theres nothing too crusial going on :P Norway would be something too maybe ? atleast i have heard they get quite high pay for jobs , but don't know about taxes.

But avoid Finland at any costs ;P worst mofos running goverment lol, im allready planning bomb strike to goverment place but i think i need outsource the actual job. Well we will see :) Hope the police isnt knocking my door tomorrow :)

So it looks like Canada, Australia, or India. Good for you, in India you'll probably have more IM opportunity (the Indians are very hardworking and reasonable people and they love to negotiate for little on your behalf), Canada is America's twin lol, and Australia/NZ is a general good choice too, it resembles Canada and America in some aspects too. In Asia my own estimation is that there's alot of uncertainty and unsure situations you will face, Asia's economy is unsure, it doesn't know whether it's government is improving or declining, I just don't know, plus you'll have to spend most of your life (if you have an average human brain) learning Mandarin (or you can cut that in half by purchasing Rosetta Stone, lol), of course I will give the props to the opinion of someone who actually lives in Asia over my own mere estimation.

The UK is a fantastic place to live, sure the weather is crap but the countryside is lovely and within 30 minutes of driving from anywhere you can be in a remote place with your thoughts to your self.

The downsides, and there are too many to discuss here, include:

- A spineless and useless Government who does fk all to help the British, bends to the whims of every ethnic minority that moves here (don't get me wrong, I am not racist in any way but the way the Government ponders to every other religion / ethnicity and then shit on its own pisses me off!)

- Crappiest public transport around, overpriced, filthy, never on time and full of chavs!

- Everything is privatised, meaning its run in a shit way with only shareholders in the minds of the moneymakers.

I could go on and on, but I am, deep down, sad to see a country I have loved since birth be ripped apart by corporate fat cats that don't give a monkeys chuff about anything than their own wallets.

But, the country is lovely - in the line of a certain hymn it mentions a green and pleasant land, and this country has it.

Sorry for the thread hijack for a major rant but don't count the UK out just because its run like a pot of crap from the top ;)
