Greetings all. I am into video animation and a top rated animator in upwork. Sales have been very poor since last month. I need to make at least 3k dollars before October to sort out some things.

I also build website using nodejs, react and django. Where and where can I get customers who may need my services to enable me meet my target?

Thanks

How do you market yourself?

"video animation" and "top rated animator" are very broad.

You could charge more and reach higher paying clients better by targeting customers.

You create engaging animated Video Sales Letters.

You create animated YouTube Cashcow videos.

You create animated Instructional Videos.

For example, if someone searches Upwork for "YouTube cashcow video" or "cashcow video creator", do they find you?

Find a niche that needs your skill and target them more precisely.

Another idea is to get people to recommend you by word of mouth by offering rewards. I think there is a thread here on BHW where someone gets more clients than he can handle for his agency simply by telling people "I pay $$ for referrals".

Now it has really become very difficult to make money in some niches. The competition in online business is huge and you need to put in more effort to make money. Try searching this BHW forum for some special advice from expert freelancers who have already started their business and made good money. I am sure that the posts from these experts will help you a lot.

"top rated animator in upwork."

If you really are one of the better ones, and I believe in that...

If we take into account that the average animator is about $50 per hour if you work 1 hour every day, that is $1,500 per month x 3 months = $4500.

This should not be hard to do for top-rated sellers, honestly.

The problem he is facing now is the client base. More clients more money. Thats the rule of business.

As you are needing money on a kind of deadline, why not try to get a job paying reliable income each month even if it's not doing what you are qualified in. When you are not working try and find extra work utilizing your skill set.

Im not sure what the pay is like where you are from but here in the UK, you could do almost any job and get a reliable £1200+ month after tax. (July - Aug- Sept) + Any side income
