Hello apparently I need to change my ebay account to a different location in the world besides USA to prevent from getting MC999 copyright flags against my listings. I see a lot of german sellers selling the same product as me without any problems so I guess I need to change my ebay account to a German location?

    So my questions are:

    1) Do I just change the location of my account to German address? Can I use any German address? ( I don't plan to actually ship from or to anything to address)

    2) Do I need to use German VPS if I change my ebay location to German to succesfully no longer be flagged by MC999 on my listings?

    3) Do I need to change the address on my paypal too?

    4) Can someone recommend me a goo German VPS? Right now I am trying to decide between germanvps and rackburst Are there any better german VPS that are as good and cheaper than this?

    5) Is it not possible to change the location to Germany? Will my ebay account still get flagged for MC999 against my listings and be treated as US ebay account? Do I have to create a new ebay account?

My guess is that just changing eBay registration location won't work.

You asked the same question on Aspkin forums and the question was answered in detail for you.

I don't think you can just move registration to different countries, because they're going to know that you're shipping from US and still stick you with VERO. Even if this works, what are you going to do when eBay starts requiring live addresses to take back returns in 2015?

Sure you can. What the OP is after may not be easily accomplished but you can change your "location"

People move and they do not only move from one block to another.

Lets say you have an ebay account that was registered in the Netherlands and that's were you live. Your company sends you for a couple years to the AUS ( or any other place ) for whatever reason.

Simply change your address to your new address and it will change the Country of registration as well.

Now, there are drawbacks to this however.

Depending on original Country of registration and the "new" Country, you may have to re verify certain things and your limits may be set back. A lot of factors will contribute to what will be done and what will be asked of you to submit. Age of account, history, standing etc.

But simply saying it can't be done is false. Sure it can be done, I did it many times myself.
