I need someone, who know how to rank amazon product page

My brother have started selling some item on amazon.com, but without any luck and sales.. He payed for advertising and also trying with facebook but no results.. So he came to me and asked me, if i can help him somehow... I started reading SEO for amazon products pages and was lookin if the method is the same as you rank any website.. I came to many answers that SEO for websites is not similar with amazon.com ranking.. So what i'm asking you is, if anyone here have experiances how you can rank amazon product page.. He will pay you, but only if you know what are you doing and show him some kind off results.

There are a bunch of different factors that are similar.

The first thing is the product and market. Is ranking actually realistic? (Not dominated by big brands, a few other FBA sellers with low, and hopefully some bad, reviews - etc).

You need to optimize the areas that Amazon gives you with the keywords you are targeting. You can use something like MerchantWords to get a gauge on keyword volume. (Note: Amazon doesn't release any of their search data, so only use 3rd party tools as a gauge. They are just guessing).

Make sure you have as many as you can in the title, the bullet points and the description. Obviously don't make it spammy, but get what you can in there. Also use all the space they give you in seller central.

Once you have the listing the way you like it, run an auto Amazon PPC campaign. They will show your listing on searches they think you are relevant for. You can then use the data to tweak your product page. (Basically, the key here is if you try to optimize your page for apples, but the PPC comes back and says Amazon is showing you for oranges -- you need to optimize your listing better).

Once your relevant to what you want to be - think of reviews as backlinks. You'll need to match (or at least come close) to the competition on p1.

Maintaining sales volume is important to. Once you start selling you really have to keep it going, because Amazon obviously wants top performers to show in the top results.
