I need some shopping cart advice

It depends on what you want to do. All of the ones you listed are websites and will need to be customized. Why not just add a paypal shopping cart to your existing site? You can integrate it into the exisiting site and be done!

Of the rest just to sell 20 products Magento is overkill, although its a great cart. WHMCS is good software, I use it daily but doubt its what you want. Ubercart is a good choice if your site is in Drupal.

Opencart would work, but again its a standalone unless you want to integrate it into your site.

If you want something that will slip into your existing design, I'd recommend something like 'ecommerce templates' (www dot ecommercetemplates dot com). Not used them for a few years but have built many sites with them in the past. They do a basic store software only option that is really easy to integrate into any site. Looking at the site they also seem to have done many integrations into popular site scripts themselves these days as well.

Cheers

I have had a lot of luck with zencart i like the platform and easy file hierarchy to edit.

thannks for the feedback. after some careful consideration i think im gonna write my own instead to get it exactly the way i need it.

I used cs-cart which at the time was super cheap but it really depends on what your current site looks like.

searching for an answer to this, do you have to have authorize.net? If I have a merchant account do I have to also have authorize to take payments through zencart?

As per your business requirements I feel PrestaShop and Magento are suitable for shopping cart. Apart from these, OS Commerce is also not a bad choice at all.

Magento is my only preference! It can be customized. As I look at your requirements it seems Magento suits you.
