Hi all, I want to make money without having to work multiple dead-end jobs making other people rich. I have ADD and I like to have deadlines for things, to keep me on track. I also need direction... I am currently trying to learn too many computer languages at once (HTML5, CSS, C, C++, Python, Perl, Java, etc.). I don't know what is the quickest to learn so I can get started faster, which one has the most potential to make a lot of money using, I don't know if people make more money making software or websites, etc. Please help, I am currently in school with a 3.5 gpa, I'm not stupid or anything, I just really lack focus.

Hi JoPic, welcome to the forum! First off: FOCUS on ONE THING! It's not necessary that you learn a lot of programming languages. Don't reinvent the wheel! Take some existing parts and combine them into something better!

Example? Learn HTML, CSS and PHP and take Wordpress to make a great website/blog/community. For Wordpress it's not necessary that you know HTML, CSS and PHP but in some cases it helps!

Anyway, have a great start and remember: focus ;)

I'd recommend that you pick one of three things as a developer:

(1) Mobile app (virtual goods or advertisements & payment to remove ads)
(2) Software as a Service (free trials & monthly subscriptions via website)
(3) Community Site / Scraper Site (user-submitted and/or automated content)

Pick one and stick to it.
