I use both in my content, only where it's appropriate.
As for good content; I've always been of the opinion that you need to know about the subject matter before writing about it. If you're just picking out high value niches, but you don't know about it, you're going to struggle with writing content that converts.

The information that you put on the page needs to be valuable to the reader

This will ruin it all for your site
Instead, go hard on long tail KWs that your competitors aren't going after

Focus on EEAT and large content, you cant do more with domain age and domain authority.. but you can be better in EEAT and huge content strategy, what works recent months

I don’t think you need to wait a year to get a payback, I got one in 40 days and my backlinks only cost about $400, and of course I provided quality content.
