I need help with backlinks

Can somebody help me how to get good backlinks.. Where are places I can get them from and how to get them on those sites... Thanks!

You need to go read some basic SEO books.

Here's one idea, it's not my own but it will help.

Type in the keyword you are trying to rank for find the top ten sites, for each one google "yourcompetitorsitename.com" -site:yourcompetitorssitename.com now it will pull up all your competitors backlinks.

Use SEO Quake to find the highest PR or alternatively plug that formula into scrapebox and use the PR sorter there. Find every commentable blog and submittable directory and then rinse and repeat for each one.
