I'm not sure if this is the right section, please move it to the right place if needed.

I just got a job offer for installing and configuring windows server 2008

This is the main things I need to do

    1. setup the apache server
    2. make sure iis and wamp are not interfering with the apache server, maybe uninstall them completely if needed
    3. proxy the existing jira setup through apache

I don't know anything about JIRA and I did mention that to them, they did send me a few links to read about the program.

They did ask me for a quote, I don't know how much to price this job, what do you think?

You understand wrong! I did say I don't know about JIRA, thank you for your "contrastive" input.

Its a small developer company in GB.

Check on elance, freelancer etc to see for how much job do go there. As you are in GB you can ask more than that. Also you should know how much it is worth to you, as your time will be used there. If you cant come up with answer, just ask how big is their budget, and go with that.

    Good luck

This! Always try to negotiate, don't settle for minimum.

One of my gigs (in the US, a holdover from my IT Desktop support days) that I still do is network support for Chase banks. I install and configure Cisco routers and switchs and do network connectivity troubleshooting from the DEMARC to he desktop.

I get $75 an hour for this work (which is why I still take their calls). When I hire techs in Houston I pay $40 to $50 an hour for them.

I do not know what that $40 to $50 an hour is equal to in GB, but that is fair market value in Houston for similar work.

How many hours does it take to do all the work? The number of hours times your hourly fee.

    or

How much does an entry level network engineer earn? You do the math.
