    Hello BHWers!

I bought a window server 2008 vps and hired a guy developed a program which is running through websites and take screenshots of them. The program run smoothly if I still let my vps displayed on my laptop screen board.

But if I minimize my vps or disconnect it (press the button X) the program does not work normally. All the screenshots it takes are black or blank without any information on them

I tried searching through internet but still cannot solve my problems. I heard that this problem maybe caused because of win 2k8 terminate the session if I disconnect my vps

I don't want to leave my laptop running all day so could anyone here please help me. I would only pay a small fee if someone can help me solve this problem

    Thank you!

Try this: "I've found that Windows 2008 servers will disconnect my session automatically if the session is idle for a certain amount of time, which definitely wasn't the case with Windows 2003. If I enable the computer GPO for Keep Alive Connections (under Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\RD Session Host\Connections) for the host and set it to 1 minute it will prevent this from happening."

If it doesn't work, contact the support of the VPS provider, because that's not how a VPS supposed to work.
