I have been checking this site over the past several months and have to say the info here is awesome and the community is great and very helpful.

I was just laid-off (AGAIN! - from tech support for the nations leading tax preparing company) and they are trying to deny my unemployment, which I was counting on to pay rent and bills.

I have been reading and downloading tons of stuff here to try to make a living from my home.

There is SO MUCH AMAZING info here but that is also a problem. There is TOO MUCH.

I have SO many ideas to try that it is overwhelming.

I have checked out harros easy money stuff and I am willing to try some blackhat stuff but would prefer to do white/grey stuff if possible.

My rent & utilities are only about $500 per month(coming up may 1st!)

If any of you could help me decide what is the most sure way, starting with nearly NO money, to make about $50 per day or so I would be SO GRATEFUL!

Thanks to all that give their 2 cents!

You are in a crunch man. That is a tough place to be.

There isn't an overnight fix for making money online other than to simply ' do it '.

Select a couple of competitive niche markets and find products/services that target them.

Get yourself a couple of domains and a webhosting account.

Get yourself a couple of decent templates, a shopping cart system and a blog setup.

Promote your site with the seo techniques and put them to use.

You can find all of the answers you need in this forum, search and you shall find. No one is going to be able to suggest a workable niche for you. You have to decide what you are comfortable and interested in selling and just do it.

Don't overthink it and stop looking down the end of loaded guns looking for the right ' magic bullet ', that will just waste your time until you get your head blown off.

    Keep it simple and productive.

Get a product from affiliate services, clickbank, wholesaler, anywhere...

Figure out how many people you have to have buy your product at a min. to make your comfortable income cash flow. If you need $500 to cover the bills, you should go for $2000 - $2500 / month in profit earned.

Selling a $47 ebook, for example...$47 divided by $2000 = 42.55 client sales...so you need 43 people a month to buy that book to make your goal.

Plan your seo and traffic generation to get as many peoploe through the doors of your site as possible. IF your goal is to get 20,000 people through your site in an attempt to make 50 sales ( rounded up ), to make your desired income...you have it made.

Throw a couple of solid sites up with solid products that are niche targeted and not spam/scam stuff and you will turn a profit. Don't waste time looking for the best thing possible when so many good things that will make you the same amount, if not more already are right at your finger tips.

The guru of the world make their money in 3 ways...

Selling people the newest , hottest fad to get rich from, which is a technique rehashed into a promotional gig to make it's last ditch money out of the consumer due to the niche being burned out by every guru in their inner circle already.

    Residual income from membership/service sites.

Passive income from their automated affiliate sites; clickbank products, affiliate ads and pages, viral and affiliate sites where people promote and sell their own products/service for them.

Don't be fooled, as you can make money from clickbank and those little product/service affiliate niches. They are still in business because they still work. You won't get rich from it but you can atleast keep your bills paid if you really work it.

Coming from a High Superior Member of this forum as you are, your post seems quite rude!

This seems to be how this forum is turning lately! But only in the last 4 months.

I think it is more the fact that this is the 2nd thread like this in as many weeks. I've searched through the forum, and most guides are how to improve or increase sales, pageviews CPA, etc.

As I once heard from a prominent business man: "There are little to no resources for people who are interested in creating their own small business, however there is a plethora of options once you have your own small business."

This site is no different, people can't tell you which pool to jump into. And logically this makes sense. They don't want you to be competition (these tactics work on a variety of ideas, so it's not even necessary) and secondly - and perhaps more importantly, they don't want to recommend you jump into something they know very little about.

Were just sick of these lazy sobs expecting to get everything spoonfed.

And they always invent some pathetic story about how much they need it... in this case some BS about needing to pay his "bills".

Some people just have no dignity...

Don't take it too personally. Mainly, most of the people here are past the point of making money and just want to up their income potiential. They tend to get frustrated and worn out due to newbies wanting the same things ' not doing the research ' that is right infront of them in this very forum.

However, the reason I posted a reply today is that I want to give noobs something to reach for and assist where I can in that department, to show the ones that don't know what they are looking for or where to begin how to do so.

Both seasoned and new members need to take it easy and keep in mind the perspectives of the situation of both sides. Just focus on learning what it is you need to search for and what you need to do to make money for yourself. You can find your footing with the techniques here but remember to study and build your foundation in whitehat, then bend the rules with the blackhat that works for you to you comfort zone.

I personally, don't have a blackhat comfort zone but, most of these guys have a lot of knowledge here. They tend to have less patience and common civil respect for others though...heh. There is the rub I guess.

I understand where you are coming from. I get pms all the time of people asking me for advice and help. I do what I can but mostly, refer them to select posts and get them pointed in the right direction.

I'm not going to give up any information that is going to damage or threaten my business, as no noob could, due to the work I've got into my network. So, helping them out is fine, to a point. Try and understand that they aren't all trying to get your piece of the pie, just wanting to know where the plate is to get their own.

We are where they want to be, in most cases. I agree, the people that want to have a business built FOR them, need to look elsewhere, get a job and hire someone to do it for them.

As for those that are just trying to learn the basics and understand where to start to look, though...they need the direction and not to be so harshly run out of the forums so easily.

For the noobs that read this and really want to put in the effort and do the work, here is what to look for:

Study anything you can find on SEO, products, clickbank, affiliate stuff.

Get yourself a domain and webhosting account.

Study how to build websites yourself or get a template, by searching ' free website templates ' in google. There are thousands of these things out there, ready to go.

Get yourself a couple of good products from clickbank and start promoting these things for a little working cash, then move into other, bigger niche markets from there.

Use the process I listed above in this thread. Decide how much you want to make per month, pick a product/service to sell, divide that income amount by the product profit and it will tell you how many sales/clients through your site you need to buy your stuff.

    What will happen:

You will make money if you stick with it and continue to test and try without giving up if something doesn't work.

    What you need to understand:

It will be hard, it will take time and effort unlike you have ever given before to a job.

No one can TELL you how YOU will do with a technique, product, service or site. Only you will know that ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT.

No one can TELL you how much money YOU will make with any of the above. Only you will know that ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT.

No one can TELL you what to do and know if it will work for YOU or not. Only you will know that ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT.

Now, what you CAN count on:

People here will answer your questions and help you with a great wealth of knowledge but you have to learn the basics on your own. Learn what you can do and handle, what you need to outsource and have someone help you with first.

Make sure you learn SEO 101; keyword and market research, how to make a site rank in the serach engines, etc. Make sure you learn if you want to build a website yourself or if you need to get some money to have someone do it for you. Make sure you want to put in the time and effort to learn what you have to do and then are up for the task of actually doing it without quitting or if a dayjob is better suited for you.

Learning, researching, reading about what it takes to apply the techniques in these forums will give you more than enough information to make a sound decision, as it will be clear to you if you have what it takes to make money in the virtual world of the internet.

You want a place to start, start there. Do the research, learn and most importantly - APPLY it.

Best of luck, hope this helps.

@NotTheDude, you should know better than to start a thread like this. You've been on BHW for 6 months, you've made some posts in the past, you've obviously been reading other threads for a while. Surely you've seen the flames these threads recieve. Technically this thread violates T.O.S. section 3.3 "Asking how to make $xxx/day" not allowed.

Here is a quick answer to your question, if your on information overload and have absolutely no money to start, then focus on article writing for ac, it is the cheapest and simplest method. Also try CPA and CB affiliate offers posting at free places like blog comments, forum posts(but not on BHW), BBSs like CL, and social networking sites like FB, that will make you a little more money than the article writing. Then once you make a little money get your own domains to increase what your doing with the CPA, additional affiliate programs and maybe set up adsense. Those methods can absolutely get you to $50 a day, depending on how good you can write, and how good the CPA offers are, and what CB products you choose to market. But it most likely won't make you that money overnight. All of that is totally whitehat methods. If you want to add BH to it, you can do multiple accounts on AC, CL, FB, and the like, and set up fake girl profiles and do e-whoring to promote the CPA offers.
@dvdvids - nufaman made his comment because these threads are pointless, everyone has their own hard luck story. Many have had it much worse than the OP. Personally, I haven't read one of these stories that doesn't make me think "damn I wish that was as bad as it got for me." You've seen posts like nufaman's much more often in the last 4 months, because there have been a lot more noobs making these kind of posts in the last 4 months. We kind of expect a little more of a member thats been around as long as NotTheDude. This kind of post is the number one way to guarantee you will get flamed on this forum.
Its actually about the hundredth thread like this in the last few weeks. Usually the mods find them as fast as they can and delete them. Remember these threads are a violation of the T.O.S. In many cases the mods will even give the member a temporary ban for starting the thread. They leave a few up just to let people see why its a bad idea to make them.
@aftershock2020 - You're one of the most helpful people on BHW. Again you have given some great information that can help a lot of people getting started. I wish experienced members like you would post great replies like that into the Guide for New Members. It could make that thread a one stop shop for people wanting to get started.

You've helped me a few times too, so you know that there is a mountain of info I don't know. My questions can be fairly remedial themselves a lot of times, so I'm not claiming that every post should be absolutely the newest and most valuable thing ever. I would never suggest people don't ask questions, or make shares even if it might not be the most cutting edge new method. But, the 'help me I have a hard luck story' threads do need to be addressed. When people start these kind of threads, it is basically asking for all the info already in the forums to be posted into this thread. They would be better off reading through the forums, making note when they come across people like you that always have valuable information, and start reading back through those members previous threads and posts. I have a list of members who's posts I try to follow and pay attention to. (and you're one of them on my list :) thanks for all the great info you've posted on BHW)

For anyone else reading this, that's having problems finding a starting point, please read these articles and threads before making your own post,
Read the Making Money Forum, pick one of the methods that makes sense to you and start there. You won't get any better info by starting a new thread, than what you will find already posted there.

Everyone comes here to learn how to make money. If everyone with a hard luck story that isn't making money yet, made one of these threads, then thats the only thing we would have to read here. The people that are making money are answering these questions everyday. Not by posting in these 'Help Me' threads, but by starting their own threads that outline their methods and discussing the details.
Seriously, everyone should read the Guide for New Members before making their first post.

If you don't want to help then why would you post. There are many here that are unlike you and would help people regardless of how many people need help.

I am sorry if you are used to being lied to on this forum, but I did not make up anything.

I was honest and simply asked for a little help in deciding where to spend my time to have the best chance of making my rent.

I don't know if you are having a bad day or are always like this, but most people here seem to want to help others.

A quick view of your recent posts shows that you seem to be here more to criticise and complain than help.

I am glad most people here are not like you.

@NotTheDude - actually dvdvids was standing up for you in response to one of the flames you got. You might want to read the posts a little better before flaming back.

Sorry, for the trouble. I did not know that this post was something I wasn't suppose to do. I was complimenting the forum and most of the people here, and then just asking for a little nudge towards where my focus should be.

Thank you very much for your helpful post and to all the others that have taken their free time to help.

    You guys are awesome

    Good job.
Now don't be afraid to ask questions. You've made plenty of other posts that didn't get any flames. Just remember what it says in the Guide for New Members, read through the forums find something you can understand a little and then ask something specific to get clarification.

I understand what you mean about overload, but if everyone actually did start posting specific answers in a thread like this then it would quickly be overloaded with info as well. I hope you'll read through the links I posted.

    Good luck to you.

I did read the TOS(again, it's been like 5 months) and am reading the other linked posts you gave me. Thanks again for the encouragement and the patience.

I need to just start something. I do have a few domains and an unlimited hosting account, so I have some resources to work with. I have also been studying marketing since I was 13, so I know quite a bit but have never just dived in yet.

I am grateful for this forum and plan on donating and being a productive helpful member ASAP.

No hard feelings to you nufaman.
