Hi well the other day without thinking i accidently submitted my adult tumblr to google. I didn't realize that it works kinda like twitter and google just crawls all tumblr pages automatically and it's pretty obvious they have penalized me because i'm not even indexed and it's been a week already. Can i get some advice from an expert on what i should do? Would they even penalize me anyway? I'm thoinking that im pretty much fucked.

Yes, that's true, u submit the site or not, Google will crawl your blog today or tomorrow as it is on tumblr and Google can find its links from the other tublr blogs/pages through the tags etc. So I will not say that submitting the site to webmaster tools was a 'big' mistake unless you already have other sites on that same webmaster tools account which are already penalized/deindexed.

There are tons of adult sites which are shown on search results for adult keywords. Those sites are indexed, and there is no problem with indexing if it is an adult site unless it is a re... porn or a... porn (u know what i mean).

And if the site is new, then it may take upto few weeks to get it indexed. So just wait and relax.

Because i have pretty much given away the fact that i plan on making money off of my tumblr, which would be considered spam. I know they didn't used to do anything like this but this is 2017 so i figured they do now.

I know it''s penalized, all my backlinks are indexed but the URL is not and it's been about 10 days now.

I believe Yahoo has them noindexed (or is it robot'd I can't remember), so I think this is the right answer.

By indexed I meant listed in the SERP's. Isn't that what "indexed" means though? None of you seems to know what i'm talking about. I submitted my tumblr blog to Google. This is where I submitted it: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url. You're not suppose to submit your tumblr since Google already crawls all of that, so i was thinking that it's possible i got automatically put into their little spam box or something.

Getting "indexed" isn't the same as being listed in the SERPs. Not at all. Google crawls a page, and decides whether they want to put the page in their search index. A page can be in Google's indexed, but it certainly doesn't have to rank at all for any keyword search.

A page needs to be indexed in order to possibly rank. Is your site indexed? When you enter "site:sitename.com" in Google, does it return one or more pages of the site? If yes, then the site is indexed. But again, that doesn't mean it will rank for any searches.

Calm down.... Google doesn't care if you submit a page that is already indexed.

It is more likely that Google has decided your page is not worth showing in search results.

Thanks, I didn't know this, just searched and found:

    http://www.zdnet.com/article/adult-tumblr-blogs-now-removed-from-every-form-of-search-possible/

OP, you should read the above post.

It says "Tumblr uses robots.txt to bar all search engine access to blogs flagged as adult."

So it looks like not Google, Tumblr is actually blocking your site from search engines. Google does index and shows adult sites - EG: you can search for some adult keywords and you will definitely get some adult sites in the result. So it is not like Google is not indexing your site because it is an adult site.

That article was written in 2013. There's also still adult tumblrs listed in the SERP's. Maybe they just do it to new blogs.
