So as the title says ..

I need to know few things about law and getting under it ..

Like .. If I want to provide copyright shits with torrentz .. and I only gave a links for the movie lets say ..
This way i dont have any problem with the movie company right ? and im 100% legal .?

Please I really need some answers .. if you cant help then just direct me to where can I find the answers ..

He needs legal advice about some specific IM issues e.g. the one he mentioned, and he is ready to pay for it, I think. Can some of you guys help?

I dunno legality of situation although I know what you are asking and best example will be to say you want to make movie site with embedded video where you will only stream video and actual video file will be hosted on various video hosting channels... Same thing applies with ebook or other torrent sources...

Law these days are getting strict so you should carefully decide before acting... You can still make that kind of sites but preferable option will be to use offshore hosting under cover of offshore LLC... In small scale they are not gonna chase you out of business but still you are violating their rights and they are loosing money because of you so they may try to catch you... Worst you can loose domain or hosting account... I don't think there would be any legal action...

Model where user submitted links are present will be more safe then you putting links for movie... We at BH are already providing copyright material lol and still running, isn't it proof enough that you can also do it just cover your tracks...

What if i provided links to where they can legally buy the movie lets say :D then im 100% angel right ? :rolleyes:
 
Not necessarily. A big site recently got siezed by the US government for doing exactly what you're asking. They were only providing links....and had a lot of user generated content, and no embedded videos. Be careful about how you go about this and make sure you check the laws about copyrighted material in your country before doing so. This isn't a legal forum....so just because someone here says "sure go for it" doesn't make you immune to laws. :P
