I'll be doing a vlog. Let me know best and most affordable cameras and all the accessories I'll probably need. Also wondering what the best video editing software is to learn. Any and all info is greatly appreciated!

I never used a camera because I'm a social anxiety-ridden fatty and I don't want to be seen. I do use a mic tho, I bought it specifically for youtube. As far as condenser mics go, it's pretty good for a cheap price (i think it was 30~$). The aivoxcon A-700. Just a simple plug-and-play USB mic, it's a bit quiet so up the input a bit if you get it. Get a boom for it for sure tho, I didn't and i wish i had.

Filmora is probably the easiest video editor for a beginer.

Hey! I'm super insecure as well but just going to go for it and try and break down that barrier of fear. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. Well, both of them. I'm fine with an editor that isn't as beginner friendly but is reallly gooood if you think 2 months to learn while taking courses on it is sufficient

I never found there was much of a learning curve on any of the software honestly. They're all pretty straightforward. If your confident just go for the best which is probably APP. I found it easy and intuitive, and once you get good at it, it's incredibly powerful.

Glad you have more balls than me on the camera thing, Good luck man! ^_^

if you know how lighting works your phone camera is enough.. i would recommend a good mic instead.
the best video editing software? premiere pro for me.. but filmora is also good.

The more you spend for the camera, the better quality and service you will definitely get, but for a small budget and a good job, Canon 2000D cameras are a good option. You can also use Camtasia, Aftereffect, Adobe Premier for software

If you are new start with mobile cam with a stick/simple tripod and a boya lavlier (wired) trail some videos
mid range mobile cam are better than entry level cams
go for canon/sony cams on upgrade

Filmora is very user friendly if you are new to editing

if you're going to use your phone as many suggest, get a phone tripod. Your videos will look 1000% better
