All right... I am asking for some help with my website. A word to the wise, I am a creative and graphic design is my passion. This website would be awesome if I could make money from it but I see it as a learning tool for young people and students. Right now, I am writing a few more blogs and would like to have a following as a teacher and mentor for our future youth.

I am a green back in a large ocean of sharks... please be kind. :buttkick:

    www[.]untouchdesigns[.]com

I know it is totally a mess with the back-end and SEO, traffic and page rankings.

    I have a few questions:

I do not understand microformats and how they can help out my SEO on this website can someone explain? And please give me a few code snipts with an example.

I am using woorank.com to more or less fix my SEO problems. Is there a better free site to review my website with a better checklist?

Woorank.com also says my website is coming up as www[.]untouchdesigns[.]com and untouchdesigns[.]com is there an easy fix?

Any other tips and tricks that you see within my website that I may not know about would be great! Thanks for the SEO critique in advance!

301 redirect the www to the non-www (or vice versa). Or, set up both the www and the non-www in Google Webmaster Tools and choose a preference.

    Don't spam links.

I hesitate when a designer uses someone else's web design for their own website. It looks like this is not your design?

Don't bother with microformats until you get other stuff worked out.

Your title is "ABBY LEE | Untouchable Designs"

That doesn't really mean anything to me and doesn't really add up to what users are searching for.

    More content, more marketing.

ETA: Oh, and do a search for "Google webmaster starter guide" and read it. Also read "google webmaster guidelines" and read that too.

There's a tool on the homepage of Quick Sprout ( http://www.quicksprout.com/ ) that also does on-page SEO analysis. You can plug your website in and compare the results with that of woo rank.

You need local marketing more than online SEO at this stage...

Btw, a designer should speak with pictures more than words ;). I mean, where is your portfolio? Even a dummy one should do... or else,...

no amount of SEO/top-rankings/targeted-traffic are going to turn the visitors into customers. Think...

I'd suggest taking a weekend to read up and provide yourself with some basic knowledge before you go and start making changes from strangers on the internet. Quicksprout has a few free guides that would be perfect - Advanced Guide to SEO - and - Advanced Guide to Link Building. At the very least, this knowledge will help you to ask the right questions.

    Archon10 -

Understandable. I used Drupal for the most part. I used various blocks, but did most of the coding myself.

Abby Lee is the one I re-designed her page. She is from a show called dance moms. I do understand tho. Should titles be more indepth such as "Abby Lee's Website ReDesign"?
