Ok heres the deal, I'm working on a social site, and im offering a few diffrent services within that social site. However certain programs im using have there own way to log in them, what I need is this for example... I'm using cscart for my store and Vbulletin for my community forum, but when someone logs in the front in I need them to be able to click the community or store link and stay logged in...not have to re-log in because there moven over to a diffrent part of my site and because im using a diffrent software, do u follow me? so pretty much i need all my softwares im using to work as 1

All those comments are very useful :)

But on the other hand tips would be completely useless, you really need a programmer :)

None the less a hint - I did not check, I do not know, but I stronly assume it would work that way:

many php basing web stuff stores a session in the corresponding mysql-database
(others just include the session in a form or as get parameters, you know that bla.com/x=1?sessionid=dasfasdf)

Should be easily implementable for the first case: (let) check on both places how the session is saved and whenever a login is done, the session in the other db is also updated
