Depending on the genre of your app it can become quite expensive if you want to promote it. What is your marketing budget?

In fact there are two ways to promote your app.
1. Make it rank on top of a category and get huge downloads
2. Make it rank for keywords.
In both cases you need a solid budget.
What you can do is to book an appointment for a demo of one of big spy tools and ask them to analyze a competitor app so you can get an idea of what they are doing.
But if you don't have a budget of 10k+ you'd better give up.

do you know any good suppliers i could turn to? Ok 10k is quite a lot. My app only cost 4k.

Many things to consider:
- your overall app quality
- how is the demand
- how is the competition
- the niche/genre
- if its for iOS or Android
- if you are actually entering an existing niche with existing keywords or if you have an app like Instagram, TikTok or whatever and there are no keywords
- you must know the market you are entering and also what users you want to attract
Also you have to consider to do proper ASO. Means optimizing your app store listing.
- Proper screenshots
- proper description
etc.

Your app should be great if you can make profit this way.
If you can achieve $0.90 cpi with say 4% convertion rate you should charge $25 to break even. Possible, but not easy.

the idea was born after i saw the demand in many posts on facebook and co This is partly about the niche of cars and dating. So potential is there

wow thanks for all the info and tips. Yes I am from Germany you too?. I haven't found an app with the same idea yet. Niche is car/dating. It is for ios and android phones. I have already had an ASO analysis done by this provider https://mopeak.com/.
I will follow your suggested species. Have you already released many apps?

yes, i am from germany too. i already uploaded a few apps for iOS and Android. Got more than 100k downloads for each platform
