5 conversions in two months with total sales of USD 1,615

It's a bit disappointing b/c some of the sales were quite low (must be one-night-only in a cheap ass hotel) but anyways - as an experiment what do you think?

I made practically zero effort but I'm not crazy about the commission...

So, basically, 415 clicks = USD 65-150 (that's my guesstimeate)

Seems a bit crap - do you agree or would you hang in there?

Of course, totally depends on the niche, intent and traffic...

I think it's great if you don't stress too much

Yeah - I guess my logic was that Expedia would be an interesting affiliate model b/c of the high ticket sales items....guess it really comes down to luck - now 500 clicks a day would make it a lot more interesting...

The answer would depend on how much time and effort it took you to get those $65. If it involved minimal work then nothing to complain about.

The answer is - basically - minimal work. All I did was apply for the program and I made a very simple button that just said "Book Flights or Hotel Rooms"

The CTA works for one of my niches but I guess it comes down to effort - a better CTA could have maybe seen a 20% uplift in clicks which would have been no bad thing

if you have the quality traffic with little effort, it is worth it.
