so, I've been testing this new method lately and i was losing faith... I would wake up everyday and check my clickbank account and my bitly stats to see no progress being made. I would see traffic coming through but I just wasnt having luck landing a sale. Today, my faith has been restored! I checked my bitly stats first, not much of a traffic increase as opposed to yesterday so I was fairly disappointed... then I logged into my clickbank account and VOILA! MY FIRST SALE!

For those of you trying to do affiliate marketing, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! This is the first time I've taken action online and I HAVE FINALLY DONE IT! MY FIRST SALE! now to scale up and make more money :).

    Remember, TAKE ACTION!!!

hey weiked, U could say that its a mixture of YouTube and Paid Traffic.

I wouldve loved to get a landing page up and running to build an email list as well but unfortunately I havent procured that knowledge yet lol

thanks Soul. I recently put up 3 vids and dumped 60 bucks into paid traffic. hopefully I can get at least 1 sale so I know I am headed in the right direction. I'm confused about this CB gravity. lots of grav means lots of competition (do I just beat out the competition?) low grav = very little comp but will probably have low market. its like choose your poision

if you're uploading I would mainly focus on quality vids as well as plenty of backlink and backlink dripping to those videos. Theres an excellent guide in the YouTube section of BHW where someone ranked on page 1 on google in weight loss via YouTube video backlinking which in turn put his video in the top 3 of youtube searches. I cant remember the name of the thread otherwise I would link you. I used gravity as a means of measuring how well a product is selling, but yes I would say it also means more competition haha. I wouldn't say that you necessarily have to beat the competition, all you have to do is think a little outside of the box and attempt to market in avenues that they aren't using much of.

As for heading in the right direction, just keep up the hard work and test different niches and such until you find the right one for you and then just scale it up but just dont give up. Persistence is key

I had a couple of people do a video testimonial from fiverr and honestly they are terrible (no effort). I'm working on that customized fat loss thing. I used those 15 min videos but i think i might have to make something custom in the gym (I am pretty big so it will be believable)

Isn't it funny how just 1 sale can completely shift your entire belief system? I think we all believe to a certain extent, but once we finally do the impossible, it ALL becomes possible. Keep it up! This is not the time to get comfortable and relax!!

yea, its hard to find good fiverr gigs but once u do find a good one make sure u bookmark it somewhere lol. Honestly, weight loss is a very difficult niche to rank in and can get expensive unless you're doing everything on your own which becomes time consuming. Don't get me wrong its a great niche just very hard to start off in. I do wish you the best though in everything, just dont give up.

Beven, Thank you! I definitely intend to. Now that I know the method works, I just have to find the right niche for it.

Stonearche, thank you as well, I will definitely keep it up haha. I'm more inspired than ever.

King Midas, Just because this is my first venture online doesnt mean that I havent spent the past 3 years reading up on all kinds of information here on BHW. In fact, I was able to implement a lot of the stuff that I learned here into club promotion. of which I was making anywhere from 900-2000 a week after expenses and profit splits with the owner of the club until the owner decided to shut the club down due to opening up his new restaurant. This is just the first time that I'm putting the knowledge toward an online business. Although, I do agree with you... I do have a lot more to learn, we all do. Knowledge is power.

Mafiaboss, Thank you very much I intend on scaling it up as much as possible but I have to find the perfect niche for it first! haha.

Swagguru, Thank you lol. In all honesty, the work wasnt the hard part... the hard part was consistently working towards my project.

tosmekop, I completely agree. I remember reading this forum everyday and reading all kinds of different methods and ideas and never actually doing anything. Felt kind of disappointed when what I was trying wasnt working but once that first sale came through it was like a light switch had flicked on lol. The impossible has become possible! I will definitely not become comfortable! thank you for your words, it means a lot.

vonais, thanks broski. I'm definitely going to do everything in my power now to keep things up.

Thank you veyron, I appreciate it. Hopefully it continues to be a successful venture. The method I'm using hasn't been saturated yet but I need to find the right niche for it. I dont think 357 views = 1 sale is a good conversion rate haha

    Congrats!

I remember how excited I was when I got my first sale, hell even when I got my first Adsense click for $0.25!

You say 357 views = 1 sale Is not a good conversion rate? IMO depends on the commission, and how fast your traffic Is coming In. I have marketed products that sold for thousands, and only got 1 sale every 10k-15k visitors. With the speed of the traffic I was getting, and the commission for the product, It was well worth It.

Keep on marketing now! Scale, scale, and scale. If this niche Is getting 1 sale per 350 visitors, expand your niches, and keep working on your current one. Run 10 niches that get 1 sale per 350 visitors, and so on.

The possibilities are endless, which Is why I picked this line of work :)

Grats man, nothing is better than the feeling of your first few dollars made online. I'm sure a lot of people give up hope early on and give up on the huge potential that the internet has to offer.
