As the title says. I started in 2019 and by the end of 2021, I had earned 100k+ from my Tumblr blogs.
First started with just display ads (ExoClick), then I had many NSFW blogs with NSFW ads. But the porn ban happend.

Now I have 3 big blogs (1m+ followers total) and many small blogs in different niches (10 blogs)

I have diversified my income now. From sponsored posts, display ads, amazon affiliate, Teespring merch, Merch by Amazon, newsletters, youtube account, and even donations from followers.

Anything you want to ask, ask away

which adult niche were you in with these blogs?

What is the best monetisation method which bring you the highest ROI?

Tumblr is still very much alive and worth considering according to you?

I had blogs in the Rule34 niche and Hentai niche. Those had the best conversion rates. I had many DMs from NSFW artists to promote their IG or Twitter.

Depends. The most I've earned are from sponsored posts. But during the holidays Amazon Merch is the biggest earner.

It\s definitely alive. Now more than last year because the "tumblr girl of 2014" trend is making a comeback. Also Musk buying Twitter increased the Tumblr users by 14% iirc

Can you post of pics of earning ?
Idk if this counts. this is last month's earnings from my Paypal. Plus my earnings on Payoneer (from Amazon Merch and Affiliate)

This was a nice reply, thanks.

How do you post great content on the site? what was your process, not only random content I guess? from where you had it?

Sounds interesting. I am also thinking to give tumblr a try. Before that I have 2 questions for you. Will you pls help with your answer?

1) As per your study can you name few niches that have the potential to get success in Tumblr?
2) How to you create content for your tumblr blog?

1. anything that has to do with pictures/photos. videos don't do well on Tumblr, skip videos. So for example, a new blog I'm just starting is about beautiful art pieces. Plenty of websites that host high-quality paintings. So I'll queue posts on a weekend for the whole month.
2. 3 ways: manually, from Pinterest or from Reddit. Search on Pinterest or Reddit for your niche and "steal" their content.

Thanks for sharing your useful insights my friend. It really gives a logical direction.

Stealing from Pinterest and reddit :D :D ...ha ha ...

I have a wonderful team of graphic designers so I will create content for this.

Question: Is tumblr still a thing? Thought they are dead like myspace after the porn ban.

Wait, you can monetize Tumblr blogs? I thought it was like Reddit. How do you run your own display ads there?

As you might have guessed, I know almost nothing when it comes to Tumblr. What kind of content do you create? Do you create a lot of original content or just curate them? Is it more like Pinterest and less like Reddit?
