    Hi everyone,
    This is the first time I cant find my answers here so I had to ask you guys. Excuse me please. I am selling a physical product (for now only on apps like letgo) and want to move to Shopify + Etsy as I am getting good feedbacks. The problem is that I have an adress, bank account and phone number here in California and SSN but I cant work because of my visa type, I am not allowed to work.
    Question is how to setup an online store and collect payment without having problem for my visa?

    I have these solutions from my readings and related questions;

    1- It says that these platforms (paypal, stripe, etsy etc.) is not going to report to IRS if total sales not exceed 20.000$ and 200 transactions.
    I am skeptical about this because this rule doesnt guarantee that they dont get any info if they WANT. I will still be there until they ask questions about me when I apply a new visa for example. Am I thinking wrong?

    2- Using my home country to setup the store.
    Paypal and Stripe are not provided in my hometown which makes me crazy. Others are skrill, checkout and Worldpay(not sure these are works for me to operate here)

    3- Stripe Atlas - It s a servicce where they setup a us c corp for your name even if you are foreigner.
    It costs 500$ just to start and I am not sure if I can use with Shopify. If I setup a shopify store from US, it will still be asking my personal information, can I just give them the company info?

    4- Asking people to be partner
    Well, I realized that people here are really afraid to give their information for just even payment, none would setup a store for me. How can I find someone who would just setup a store for me?

    Does anyone willing to give their ideas? I must be missing something, starting an online store and operating under the radar shouldnt be this hard.

    Thank you.

    Don't use shopify then. Use Woocommerce or hire people to build site for you
