On the whole, the Chinese are very friendly to Russians. We usually see Russia as a reliable partner for our country.

This is what I assumed, but I never really had any kind of confirmation on it. There is so much northern border that China must have a good bit of population bleed with Russians. It only made sense that Russia/China would have an America/Canada style relationship.
In terms of what I personally spend, it's probably around $15 a month when converted to dollars.

Of course not, all Chinese regard Taiwan as Chinese territory. We have the same ancestors the same culture and there is no way China will recognize Taiwan as an independent country, even if there might be a war.
Yes, almost all European and American social media are banned in China and we need to use vpn to access them.

I've been to the northern border of our country that borders the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk, and many of the Chinese vendors and Russians there know their respective languages. Daily life contacts and trade are very frequent.
Being followed? You mean being watched by various cameras on city streets? If so, I'm glad I have these cameras to keep me safe, China is one of the safest countries in the world. These cameras will expose any crime and keep me safe and secure. No one in China cares about these cameras and they do not bother me about my privacy.
Also, about the payment. China has popularized mobile payment and all stores support WeChat payment or Alipay payment, but it doesn't mean you can't use cash, it's illegal to refuse cash in China.

Social credit does exist, and it's only for those who have seriously broken it. It will not lose points for something as trivial as buying alcohol. For example, refusing to fulfill a court judgment for compensation, refusing to repay a loan, it will have some penalties, restricting your high spending you can't take a plane or a high speed train and freezing your bank card until you fulfill these judgments. It records every adult's fulfillment through a credit system, which is run by the state department and cannot be changed once it is recorded. If your score is very low, it will be difficult for you to apply for a credit card or loan through a bank.
my score is at a high level because I don't have any major failures on my record. lol
These prices depend on which cities you live in. If you live in a developed city like Beijing and Shanghai, your rent will be at a high level, probably over 3,000rmb, and you will only get a small house. Food prices will also be higher than in other cities. The price of utilities is basically the same in all Chinese cities, very low, 60 cents rmb per kilowatt for residential electricity.
Honestly it's hard for me to offer some optimization tips, prices in China have been rising and my cost of living has been climbing.
