I know literally nothing about IM, but I will make $100 every day

This is my second post, but the journey has to begin somewhere. I currently have very limited knowledge and no experience in this arena. That's obviously bad news for me, and not conducive to my goal of earning $100 a day through IM. However, I have the next best things. I have a toolbox. And in my toolbox are all the things I need to be successful. I have time and a strong appreciation for the value of cumulative hours, I have discipline, I know the importance of hard work and dedication and what fruits they might potentially bear, I now have these forums in my toolbox and all the resourceful, experienced people who post here, and I have motivation behind me to accelerate me towards my goal, as well as the inertia of my self confidence to keep me on track and always moving forward. I also have a respect for the labor of those who have accomplished what I seek to accomplish. I'm well aware it isn't going to be a fast or easy process, but I believe accepting that is already half the battle.

I have nothing to offer beyond that in terms of progress. I will update this thread frequently, perhaps daily, with what I am doing and what I plan to do. There's a lot to be learned and a lot of work to be done, but I will get there in time. I look forward to interacting with the community here and learning what I can from all of you.

I appreciate any input, tips, criticisms, etc that you have to offer me. Like I said I am an absolute beginner as of now, so any feedback or valuable resources/information are greatly appreciated. It all starts here though, someday I will reach the $100 a day mark.

Progress: I found this site and registered, as well as created an introductory post. I also read the forums and researched basic IM for several hours.

To Do: Develop a plan. How will I move forward towards my goal? I first need to research the qualities of a profitable niche and then locate an appropriate niche to monetize.

hi Velociraptor..welcome to BHW..Everyone starts with zero, even the biggest internet marketers that you ever seen. You have to start somewhere to develop. Signing here is one step that you took to improve yourself. I hope you learn something as well as others and good luck

Thank yourself for having limited knowledge and experience in IM. This forum is filled with literally tons of methods to make money online. People who come here see it like cherry on top and before putting it into action, they find another cherry over the cherry and so on and end up doing nothing at the end of the day. If I were to give you any advice, I'd say stay organized and strictly limit yourself on reading this forum only for a specific period of time/day so you can concentrate better on whatever do. Maintain a journal and update them everyday on Google keep/Evernote and review them once a week and see how much you've accomplished. It's also good to track how much time you spend everyday on different activities so you can ditch the futile ones at the end of the week. I wish you success!

Yeah, I've found that I spend a lot of my time thinking or researching, and very limited time actually DOING. And it's funny you should mention those strategies. I already journal every morning about what I intend to accomplish in the day, and then at night what I have accomplished and what I need to improve or do the next day. I definitely intend to include this in my IM endeavors. And I may be a noob at search optimization, but I'm damn good at time optimization. I keep a notepad with me daily to log the hours I put into the tasks that I want to excel in, one of which is now IM. I've gotten to the point where I'm now being productive in some way for at least 9 hours each day.

Progress: I located a pretty good niche, one that I found a decent clickbank product for and developed a list of good keywords. I also happen to be somewhat knowledgable in this niche and am confident I will be able to generate good content for it. I have purchased a domain and hosting for the website I intend to market their product from.

To Do: Create a wordpress website and create content for it.

Alright I put in a few hours of work today. I have a cloaked affiliate link to my click bank product and have a few questions about it. I use the pretty link plugin, it shows how many hits each link gets but how can I determine if I made a sale or not? Also how does the vendor know that I'm the affiliate just from that link? And whats stopping me from spamming my affiliate link on, say, relevant Youtube videos. Like posting it in the comments and seeing if anyone will buy from there?

Progress: Researched wordpress. Put together a bit of my wordpress site. Wrote a good 1000 word article for the front page of my site.

You can determine that you've made any sales, by going into your clickbank account and checking it there. And when you decide to promote a certain product, then you have a unique ID, that's how they know you're affiliate, if that makes sense. Nothing stops you from spamming the affiliate link, you should try different approches. Though spamming the affiliate link on video, they won't stick too long as people will flag your comment and it will be taken down.

Alright, I'll checked my clickbank account. By unique ID you mean my clickbank nickname? When I clicked the "promote this" and it brings you to the hoplink thing it asks only for your clickbank nickname and an optional tracking ID. Also when does clickbank update the sales information? If I made a sale right now, and went to go check it on clickbank, would it appear there? Or do they update it at fixed times.
