No level of income will make you happy... if there is a link between happiness and income, it's coincidental - perhaps that people who are happy are so because they have their life in order, and consequently are able to earn a better income too.
That said, it would be hard for me to smile today if my stomach hurt, but, you don't need to be 'rich' to have food and shelter. That's all pretty easy. After that, though, it's all just subjective...

UPDATE
As said on my first post, I'm really just playing a waiting game until my site reaches the first page, if it will indeed get there. So here's a short story.
I've noticed that Yoast SEO Plugin's keyword density shows different percentages from other density checkers. I tried a bit of tweaking with my articles and lowered their densities, well around the "orange" range. A couple of days later the rankings dropped, so I assumed that Yoast's plugin is the better density indicator. I reverted the articles back to their previous keyword densities and I will check tomorrow if the rankings have improved. What do you think?

Keyword density itself isn't much important, it's more about visibility (WHERE is the keyword used? URL? Title? Paragraph? etc) and supportive keywords (which words are commonly used along the keywords by top results on google?). If you are interested in this, I'd recommend:

Generally, I'd aim for ~2% Density and using the Keyword in Titles.

Thanks for the tips! I usually put one keyword as an H1 heading, one in the alt section of an image, one in the slug, and another one in the meta description. I also put a keyword on the title if it isn't awkward. Don't wanna make the title awkward.

So I haven't updated in 9 days. But here's an update! By the way, I forgot to give a breakdown of my expenses:
Expenses:
Domain name: $9.95 (not sure, but I got a discount from namecheap)
SEO Service: $96 (got a 25% discount!)
Hosting: $19.9 (2 months)
Total: $125.85
Profit: $0
I received the report from the SEO service I purchased here in BHW. My site went from nowhere to page 2! It was quite a good service, quite a good service indeed. This could mean that I really have the eye for good SEO services OR just superb beginner's luck. I'll give it around 2 weeks or so to see if the service will take my site to page one, but if it won't I might add a blog network to it.
Mistake I made:
I made a mistake on the anchor text diversity. I only gave my SEO-guy two keywords, both of which are exact match. I'll definitely get a penguin penalty in a month or so.
What I learned:
It's not all about link diversity, but also anchor diversity. I found out that naked urls, branded keywords, junk keywords (click here, etc.), and partial matches are waaaay better than just using exact matches as backlinks. Now I know.
What should I do?
I'm not really sure but I think I have to dilute the type of keywords, right? So I might add a purchase another service and request that seller uses naked urls, branded keywords, junk keywords, and partial matches as links. What do you think?

Thanks a lot for the replies and very sorry for the infrequent updates. Here you go:
Ranking Updates: I received the report last Feb 19th so it's about a week already. My rankings for two keywords are already #20 and #12. Hopefully, it will still rise in the upcoming weeks. The first package was sort of a diversification of links (wiki links, web 2.o's, etc.). I ordered another package of around 100 high-pr blogs. I hope this will boost my website further up the SERP's without getting a penalty in the coming months.
Greatest Fear: Getting a slap. I really know that black hat link building is very risky. I want to at least reach my ROI before getting tanked. >_<
What's Next: The thing about SEO is that it's a waiting game for the most part. I'm currently reading and watching GSA and Scrapebox video tutorials. This might be a good investment in the near future. Also, if this website is still up and running after 4 months and earning a stable and decent amount of money, I might sell it to Flippa. I need the money to expand and really streamline the whole niche site building process.
