    Hi guys,

In my humble quest to better understand and penetrate the IM scene, i started two gigs on fiverr selling "service x" and "service y". the business is not yet cost effective (i still spend more time completing each gig than i should, because i havent perfected the system yet), but given that i have to basically '0' to create the service i am selling and we are still on the learning phase, its all cool.

The good thing about Fiverr is that there are always ready buyers (majority of which are honest blokes) on standby. Fiverr's "escrow" system is good imo (though i have read reports that this can be axploited); the problem is that clients on Fiverr pay peanuts for the services rendered and there is a long clearing time before one can withdraw the cheap sum of three dollars plus.

Luckily in my 2 short month of Fiverr-ing, i managed to earn an accumulated sum of 40 dollars. Other newbies might be discouraged because the orders started slow, but like in any other business. One must not be easily discouraged by a slow start in any venture.

I would like to thank every one here on Blackhatworld; the gurus my fellow newbies and some trolls for keeping this forum alive and growing. If not for the lively threads, majority of which are educational, I wouldn't have thought of trying my luck on this industry. It is like the online wild west or something, it pretty damn hard but anyone with balls can try his luck with an almost equal chance with anybody else.

Again thank you all for helping newbies like me. Now, i have some cash to purchase IM tools so i could expand my services. :)

Thank you! 2012 has been good for me so far. A client seem to have liked our services and he has been ordering the whole week. :)

    thanks for the beer!

regarding your 4 dollar earning, That is just ok bro, i ended my first month with 0 sales, so i think you just have to make your gig description very good and fresh to attrack buyers. I try to be super courteous and professional when adressing the clients so even though i might not be the best provider out there, the customer experience we provide is at par with offline professional firms. :)

btw, i tried mutual bookmark syndication using the free version of socialadr and i think it could work with positive results with the right title and description and service. :)

Weirdly enough I have a forum posting service on fiverr whereby I will do 50 high quality posts (minimum 20 words each) on any forum! I managed to make $32 (that's including all of the money fiverr take from you lol).

    Congratulations on your earnings buddy.

    Thank you too buddy!

It could be that our tenured brothers still get exhilarated because they feel that they have a "connection" with newbies because at one time not long ago, they were newbies too and it iss really uplifting to have succeeded and now see other people on their way to success. :)

Yep, i sometimes forgot that i dont get the whole 5 dollars. lol :p

    Thank you!
Thank you! I'll do exactly that now that i have seen real money from my own work. :)

Honesty, i am still torn between a list of "good" (based on my research) tools. I would love to acquire a scrapebox (not for blasting but for gathering footprints) or maybe and Amr for very regulated article blasting. Maybe i could try ubertoolscreator (has a lot of potential but still a little buggy as per their thread here) or tweetattacks... too much information!

The challenge now for me now is to determine what process i shall be focusing on and then choose the tool to help me properly implement strategies based on my purpose.

Like most newbies, i always get excited whenever i stumble upon an interesting tool, and i have to stop thinking like that now. :p hopefullyby the end of January, i have decided on my final IM flow this 2012. :)
