So I go outside to take a break from typing all day and I hear the "rattle" of a snake. That sound that says... death!

I froze in my tracks and see a coiled snake that could have stricken at any moment.

I took a few steps back and grabbed a 10 gauge shot gun and shot it, I didn't want to do it, but I have a 6 year old boy that runs all over these 2 acres.

    It took 2 shots!

I never believed that a near death experience / scare would have your whole life flash besides your eyes until today.

2 things stick out now that the excitement is down.

    1. If I die, who takes care of my son?
    2. Is my business in order and can it produce long term income for my son?

The answer to # 1 is a personal decision that I would have to make.

The answer to # 2 at this time is a big fat NO. At this point I do not have my business in automatic / long term income mode, no one besides myself knows what I do and no one has any passwords to be able to access any of my accounts.

I don't even have a will done yet!

I guess starting tomorrow, I need to create a real business plan instead of the regular running ads to get some conversions.

How about you? Have you ever thought what happens to your online business in case of an accident or death?

damn, thats huge.. what area u live in? I'm in Texas, and I see copperheads and water moccasins all the time, mostly around my dad's place which is in a rural area.. but I don't think I've ever come across a rattler.. don't want to either! teach ur son how to ewhore... lol, jk .. I try to teach my family what I do, but for the most part, I'm the only one in my family that is computer literate and tech savvy... I'm literally the person that everyone calls for everything from computer problems to setting the time on a dvd player... lol So for the most part, they just can't wrap their head around what it is I do and how it works... they r more my target market than my target students...

i have most of my accounts on roboform2go usb stick ... thinking of making a copy and dropping it off @ my banks safe deposit box. whoever accesses it just needs to remember the 1 main password ... thing is, they'll be clueless of what to do with these precious accounts?

I was expecting more snake guts.

    :(

But that's definitely awesome! I'm glad to hear that you're still alive and have the title "snake killer."

As far as my progeny goes, well.. Being 18, it's understandable that I don't have any. If I did, I would definitely have life insurance for them to survive.
