This sounds legit, right? Seriously though, has anyone ever figured out a way to scam the scammers and make some money off these assholes at their own game?

They have a few good ones. A number of dull ones aswell, but they are fun to read when your bored. Be aware that these guys are sooo slow, so some of the email communications can take forever.

I once played along with one guy, but it was such a dull conversation i just stopped replying. I got like 10 emails in, and i still couldnt get these guy's mind off the job.

Its funny how people even get scammed by this stuff nowadays. I had a work colleague who believed one (He wasnt the sharpest tool in the shed). And he made it out to be a big secret, like during work he would whisper to me to come over and read something, and then say like "Dont tell anyone, but read this!". He was fully sucked in.

And unfortunately i didnt have the heart to call him an idiot. But i did say something along the lines of "Be careful" or something like that. I told my boss, and even he didnt have the heart to tell this guy that he was a moron. Was fun almost toying with him like "Hey hows that 10 million coming". And even a month later, he still thought he was getting his money....

I thought I was the luckiest person in the world when I got the first email, but I am still crying to this day because I accidentally deleted the email :(

But I'm an "HONORABLE BENEFICIARY" haha

What I was thinking was along the lines of trying to send this person to sign up for CPA offers or something, saying I wanted a background check so fill out a credit report offer... I dunno, something like that. Anyone ever try it?

Lol, What a nice idea. Next time I get a scam email I know exactly what to do. :naughty:

BTW, I'm not really bothered by these Nigerian emails because sometimes they're fun to read, However, the Pharmacy Emails I receive pisses me off.

    :zx11pisse:

I swear if these Chinese don't stop sending me useless Viagra discounts I'm going to.....

Excellent idea! Guess to make it really worthwhile you would need to get on lots of spammer lists?

So here's what I sent from a freshly-created gmail address:

The poor English is because I was going to try to translate this into Yoruba, (one of the 'official' languages of Nigeria, apparently,) and see if I get a reply. Assuming, of course, his email is even legit. Next I think I'll try and sell him some email lists.

Updates as they happen, this ought to be fun!

I'm wondering if Harro knew we have Nigerian BHW members here, for the purpose for lurking us, getting us to cough up our hard-earned Internet profits to buy BHW Donor or Jr VP memberships?

    Aw, dammit!

If someone's going to try and scam you like this, they could at least have the decency to accept your email! Seriously, if anyone actually falls for it, how does he expect to get their money?

Damn, he told me I was getting the money lol.

    Anyway, reply saying something like.

Hey, since I have never met you, I would like you to take a ID verification check, hit them with your ID offer and BAM! $20 lol, if only that would work haha
