I just received a phone call from a woman announcing that she was from "Windows Service" and that my windows computer had submitted errors saying that I had either a virus or malware on my computer. Btw, she barely spoke english and when I asked what department of Windows she was calling form, she said Windows Service. So figuring i'd have a little fun, I asked how she knew that my machine was infected, she said my computer had submitted error reports and that since there are so many windows machines being infected with viruses that Windows was calling all their customers to "help" them clear off the malware and viruses.

I said wow, how nice of Windows to do that. So should I take my machine to a windows store to have it fixed and she said, no we can do it right over the phone. I said great and was it just one window that was infected or all my windows? She claimed it was all the windows. I acted confused and said that I have 9 windows on my computer. And she said then we ned to clean all 9. So I asked how we would go about cleaning the windows and she asked me to find my start button. Well, that's going to be a problem, I don't have a start button. She was like it's in the lower left corner of your computer and again I told her that I don't have a start button. I have a computer that has an Apple logo and there is no start button.

After a couple of seconds pass, I told her to call someone else to scam with your fake windows services, since "Windows" doesn't have a services department, Microsoft does and hung up.

Damned, now she knows she has to say "Microsoft Service". Don't educate those people man!
Funny phonecall though. She was probably going to ask you to do something so they could xs your pc from remote and install some malware or something lol
