I just got paid but how?!

I got an order in yesterday for eight hundred dollars for a company website that has been up for a little over a week. I have not done any marketing. I had analytics installed and it has been all direct traffic.

How do you think these people heard about my company if google did not send them?

Call them and ask them, then tell us the results!

Better don't ask, "why did you make an order since all of them are direct traffic?" lol
 
I called and emailed them multiple times with no answer. Left message yesterday.

I have the money in the account and it is a local company. Oh well, I will hear from them when they are ready i guess. Until then I will sit back and enjoy the extra cash in the account!

Yeah no way am I going to spend this yet. Even if they back out Im keeping some of the money as some of the work is already completed.

Figured it was something like that especially since you said local :)

Good job man, remember G is great for passive/organic traffic but there's plenty of other ways to get a targeted visitor if you're willing to put in the effort.

personally, i would be hesitant to contact them any more than you already have. they just wanted to place an order, they didn't expect to be hounded for additional information. just a thought...

I eventually went to their location and asked them what the problem was. They used the wrong email / phone number in the order. I already processed the order and they are happy with the results.

They have already set up more orders.

Crazy facebook brought in a customer finally though!
