Not sure if anyone reads tech news. I started visiting a site awhile back called TheVerge. Initially I thought it was pretty good and then they started incorporating a liberal bias in to many of their articles... for the record I'm not liberal or conservative... I take each situation on a case by case basis and try to look at it from multiple points of view. Anyhow TheVerge is owned by Vox.com which is as liberal as it gets and TheVerge started to incorporate that liberal bias in to their articles. I don't give a flying f*** about politics. I'm there to read about tech news. If you ever read Gizmodo you'll occasionally notice a similar bias because Gizmodo is owned by Gawker which is incredibly liberal. Anyhow I became more and more irritated and so I commented on a article title, "I'm sorry I called you an asshat, Mark Cuban". Sounds like a high level of journalism I know. I commented on the post and told them the article was garbage and that it was written for the sole purpose of generating page views. My comment had the most likes/recommends on it and I was rewarded by the moderators of TheVerge with a "warning"... apparently I'm 6 years old again and I get warnings. Today I stumbled across an article about Obamacare and how great it was that something like half a million people had signed up. People in the comments were ragging on it and I simply replied to one commenter and said, "Be careful what you say. Anything anti-liberal will get you a warning from the moderators" and I was rewarded with a ban (see the attached image). I stopped reading the news because it would make me angry so when I needed a break from IM my non-internet-marketing consumption consisted of non-political type stuff (tech news, gossip, exc). Now it looks like I can't even read tech news anymore because political bias is getting shoved down my throat there too. Done venting. Back to IM.
