It was long due to get an employee to do some of the dirty work I do, and first day into the wild i'm getting some free time to post in the forum and participate more.

Hopefully i can come up with a unique money making idea that I can share with you guys soon. I usually only go here to ask questions, I hope that soon I can impart answers and money making methods.

I really think getting an employee is a good thing, especially if you can get a good labor cost for it. I plan to hire 2 more employees by end of the month. This is a great start. :)

All the best,

That's pretty sweet. I wish I had the know-how and plan to get an employee, but not yet.

congrats blackhatcatz. I started with my first employee two years ago and never looked back. I now have three people working for me and its well worth the money.

Yeah, I mean, I know i'm slacking off a bit now, but i concentrate on business systems and i'm looking into things in my business that need urgent attention instead of putting things off to do the 'small things'.

Its sweet. I'm sure i'll make more money this month and get more time off. I do agree that 3-5 people working for you per business model is optimal.

It depends on how talented or experienced your team is too.

Could you explain the steps you took? Like where did you find him/her, how do you keep track of work, etc. I imagine it would be hard to really keep tabs on an employee unless they are working "with" you in an office.

I find odesk.com to be useful.
The app they use to track employee hours etc., really helps.

I have geographical advantage and solid connections, I hired my employee from the philippines, talented guy. He works for a good very trusted friend of mine who owns a medical transcriptionist and manpower company, I take care of things by using remote controlled action and of course, meeting my friend to discuss things and tasks before hand.

As i've said before, this was a long time coming, I just needed to plot down the tasks nicely and get things done.

a lot of people need money
you can look at dp hire 30$ /month for 5-10 posting /day
buy domain and make niche
such as
you command your employe
to search video celebrities or picture ( non nude ) make category copy paste
it will make at less 2-5$ at adsense

What may seem like slave wages to us in the US or UK can mean full time pay for workers in some poorer countries.

ayes, i agree - when i used to study businss and 3rd world sweat shops came up, everyon hated them but me. if they're getting above minimum wage & they have a few paid holidays everythings fine. they even say if they quite someone else will have there job, so people are obviously willing to work for there money.

but congrats on your first hire, once i find a few people i can trust i'll be out sourcing some work, but i'm not in a rush! ;)

you can live a decent/good life here in the philippines if you are earning even $25 a day.

So what seems to be very cheap or labor wage in your country (e.g. US/UK), it can get you a long way if you will spend it here.

it's just a give and take situation. win-win for the both of you

I have a Filipino working for me too.

He just took his first paycheck :)

Intelligent, diligent, courteous; what's
not to love?

I hope to hire 2 more too, in a few weeks'
time!

I'm now reading and learning more stuff,
and working on the business aspects more
than ever before.

Outsourcing is good stuff!

Sinabi mo pa kababayan. :) Good to hear. I'm not in the Philippines but its my goal to help the country in any way I can. I am SO GLAD that I can give employment to our people, when half (I am reading statistics) of the population is poor. I am glad that I am able to give back and help feed a family. I have been blessed to be able to do this and I would like to hire more people to grow my business.

Very nice share. Aside from Odesk, where can we find sites like it?

Yeah, I used to think like i'm hiring for slave wage, but come to think of it, if he/she did not have a job and you offer her a simple but ok paying job (think sending emails doing support work) and help his/her family it would be better than nothing. I'd like to think its a stepping stone for them too.

Remember if your Cost of living is around $200-300 for one person, earning that salary is not a bad deal. Usually 2 parents with ok jobs will have around $750-$1000 income so, a middle class family would have a range of $1500-$2000 monthly income a month is not bad.
