Yeah it's possible to have 30k websites. Just buy and setup 30k domains or/and subdomains for each website. You may want to hire some people or have software to setup the websites. Either way you will have to pay big money for all those domains.

If you currently don't have any sites up and running I would set a more realistic goal of say 100 sites in 3 months. Get your feet wet there and see what kind of traffic and returns you're getting. I'm currently implementing this strategy due to it's longterm and WH earning potential.

I don't want to bring you down or anything, but I think that you would be way better with, say, 300 sites that bring in $20 / day each.
And BTW, what if Google changed their algo and your sites were affected? That would be a management nightmare!

what if they were all hosted on free blogger/wordpress. Lots of sites rank high in Google while hosted there

What's the difference? A dream is just that, something you would like to do. A goal has a plan and a date to make it happen.
So, which one do you have?
30K website , you need to setup a company and hire people .. to do management ..., i l believe you need at least half million capital ...
My target is 100 website for autoblog.. now around 10...
