Okay, I can write, and according to others, I can write very well.

I was just wondering how I could monetize this skill..

I have been writing articles, but lots of people have big teams and are willing to do this work much cheaper.
I have been researching spinnable articles and learning to write within a much less saturated marketplace.
Also, I applied for eHow, knowing the possibility to make $15 per article.

Are there any other methods you could have for me to check out?

    Thanks in advance!

I can understand the skills part, but can you read though?

If you can, then read the valuable threads in BHW. If you can read but don't want to, and you still want someone to spoon feed you, then I think there is absolutely no hope for your skills.

I may be completely wrong, but in my opinion the only way for someone to make any good money through writing (where you're essentially trading your time for money) is to charge high prices and market yourself as "quality", rather than "quantity".

Have you ever written a sales letter? Copywriting is probably the highest paying writing styled job there is (prices generally start at 2k for any good letter).

    Touche!

Well ... I have been reading through the forum quite a bit, and I have mainly found IM and article writing threads.

    Just looking for further input.

OK. There is one thread somewhere where the writer gives you details about the top sites that pay a lot for your articles. Find it.

Do niche research, begin a site, sell products writing great and unique articles -- you'll need to educate yourself on this topic.

Begin writing on specific top niches like finance, etc.

Simple Monetizing -- Learn about Adsense, CPA, Affiliate products, etc.

Pro Monetizing -- Find methods and twist and test them. No one will help you on this. First, the gurus that have mastery over this will not help you even if you're his/her blood relation. Second, they don't have free time. Third, No one gives out their secret gold-digging formulae.

Moral: You have to work on your own without repeatedly asking for more. Spoonfeeding is for babies. Great Tutoring is for good deciples who have to undergo lots of tests by the Master before they feed him the first spec of real food. Or pay someone to tell you.

You've read lots of methods here, but are you taking any action?

    HTH. Get going...

Yeahright is on the money there. Specialize on a specific topic, maybe even look for others who are in the same game and setup a small company.
