Okay Guys, I've been reading on Internet Marketing for about six months now. I've tried to make money with Clickbank but it didn't go very well. I tried CPA as well but nothing to write home about.

I like working for a little extra money on the net but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm not lazy and don't expect anyone to do anything for me. The problem is I'm not sure what direction to go in. I think I have read myself into a big cloud of confusion.

I have a budget of about three to five hundred to start. I have about thirty hours a week to put into building this. I would like to make a thousand to fifteen hundred a month. That's my goal and what I have to work with right now.

The big question is this... With the info provided above, what would be a good way to start actually making some money with Internet Marketing within say thirty to sixty days. I like the replica selling idea but I want to sleep at night. I'm open to any suggestions one may have to start.

    Thanks

with your time and budget i would recommend a cheap vps with the software built-in. i would also receommend amr (its just great), you can buy it from yourself on cb. i would buy some real well researched exact phrase domains, i would check expires on godaddy (only after doing massive keyword research which is what is going to determine your success or failure).

Put the (I don't know. . . 10) domains on whypark (for free - they will get indexed) and earn a few cents. The point of whypark is that they allow and expect you to promote your domains while others dont permit it.

use your vps and arm tools to build links to your domains. do some hardcore blackhat/greyhat and keep some whitehat, keep the ones that are of personal interest to you, and that you can write for white hat if you want.

that's it - sb will get you to page 3 (imo) and senuke and amr should get you up from there. once your reaching the home plate switch 'em to a wp theme and have a ton of conten ready to apply upon switching.

then buy abs and spin the feeds it brings in so that the content is unique everytime. set it to update your sites twice per day, with videos too. spend one day per week spinning your whole weeks worth of content for every site, spend the rest the week masturbating or doing whatever you enjot - thats it.

Thank you for taking the time to write but I have no clue what you just said. I want to learn but I don't speak the language. Without sitting down with someone and watching how different things are done I'm not sure I will ever get this.

Again, Thanks but I don't even have a web site to blast to #1 for $590 (as posted on their web site). I'm starting from ground zero here.

In all honesty dont do SEO if you dont plan on waiting for money or if you seriously dont have patience. Thats the mistake most noobs do, they start with seo and autoblogs and expect to make money fast.Yet they get dissapointed when they see very little results.

I suggest you start a blog and promote clickbank products and at the same time add articles to that blog.

What you want to do is start with Social Marketing, I would suggest like pick a niche for example weight loss. ITs saturated but there is still money. Now if you pick weight loss just make a blog about it and add some articles.

    Now for the traffic:
1.Upload videos to youtube according to your niche( find a bunch of videos on how to do sit ups, get abs, eat healthy etc

2.Then comment on high viewed videos thats on your niche and rate your comments to the top on highest rated comments, dont put a link but simply put "check out my channel for work out videos"

    3. Add some fake views from here to make your videos look more legit and if you add likes/thumbs up to your videos you could get your videos to appear high on youtube searches.

    4. In your channel put your website url , as well in your videos descriptions.

Rinse and repeat , creating more youtube accounts and uploading videos or you can simply buy your youtube accounts here.

Do this everyday for atleast 30 days and you should easily get some money from your blog if you have adsense and where you would get more money is by creating reviews to clickbank products or cpa health offers. Remember dont sell it to them, you are doing a review so make it sound like its bias and you are doing it from the bottom of your heart and are offering an honest review.

Honestly, with 300-500 dollar should be enough to get a good youtube campaign going. The Uploading videos you can do yourself , even the likes if you get proxies and a bot. You can upload without proxies , you wont have a problem. The fake views you will need to purchase.

The point is that after a while all those videos that you have will eventually stick hence getting you traffic to your blog/site . The beauty is that its pretty much good targetted traffic.

Anyone that has been doing youtube marketing for a while can tell you that "how to" videos do very well in youtube, so if you address problems with video marketing then send them to your blogs you are sure to get returning visitors.

The other costs i forgot to mention is to get unique articles, you should update at the beginnin your blog atleast 2 times a week with a 500 words article each time. Make sure you get an opt-in mailing form so you can collect emails so you could use that later on down the roads for clickbank mailing promotions or cpa offers.

ITs really not hard to make money, I definetely suggest all the noobs to start out with social marketing cause its faster that you start noticing traffic coming to your site.

Oh i almost forgot i recommend you put bit.ly links your accounts or individual videos(if you want to be more specific on tracking) so you can track your visitors from what videos they are coming from to better optomize your uploading to only upload the videos that bring in the visitors.

That's kinda putting the cart before the horse. The guy hasn't even decided what kind of website he wants to have or even figured out how to set it up once he does. What the hell does he need Xrummer for yet? What's he gonna start blasting for?

Even when he gets a website that he's ready to start promoting, it doesn't sound like he knows enough yet to be very effective blasting out backlinks. Instead of making money like you say, he'd more likely just get his sites penalized.

Xrummer isn't some kind of magic bullet that's gonna automatically start making money for everyone. In this guys case it would probably just be a waste of money. Same thing applies to the VPS that thetvnun suggested. There's nothing the OP said that makes it appear he'd have any use yet for a VPS.

There's lot's of better things he should be dealing with. The best advice for the OP is the other suggestion thetvnun gave which is to concentrate on niche research.

    For the OP -
@juxtapoz311 - You say you've tried clickbank. That statement really means nothing. Clickbank is just the payment processor and commission tracking system for affiliate sales. When you say you've tried clickbank, what you really mean is you tried selling a product that you didn't have any luck with. The problem isn't that clickbank didn't work for you, the problem is that you either picked the wrong niche, the wrong product, or didn't know how to promote it.

What exactly did you do with clickbank. Give us some details and maybe some people can give you some constructive criticism.
How did you select your niche? Research for something popular or pick something you personally liked? What kind of search stats does the keywords in that niche get? How well did you target for those keywords?

Those same kind of questions should also be answered about the product you tried selling?

Did you set up a website? Use your own domain or use a blogger type platform? Did you set up a presell page or make a review site type article? Did you just rely on search engine traffic or did you do direct promotions to get traffic. Where did you promote it and how? How much traffic were you getting to your page? How much traffic that hit your page visited the offer?

For whatever reason you weren't able to select the right niche, the right product, and get enough traffic for a clickbank product. Those same factors will apply for most other methods you might decide to try. You're likely to experience the same failure with each method you decide to try until you get those marketing research factors dialed in.

Rather than bouncing to another method, you should consider sticking with the affiliate marketing at least for now, and try troubleshooting what the problem your having is.

Do you need a better niche? Do you need a better product to promote? Are you getting enough traffic to expect any sales? You'll have to get those things right no matter what you want to try.

    Hope that helps. ~Wolf :smokin:

DigitalGangster made a post while I was typing my reply. His suggestions are more in-line with what the OP needs to be doing if he really wants to get somewhere. Way better than suggesting he get a vps or buy xrummer. He may want those things in the futurem but for now he needs to focus on the more basic things he needs to learn.

He never specially stated that he didn't have a website or a domain.

He said he tried Clickbank and CPA which would lead one to believe he has a domain. Again, I was assuming, but you can't blame me for doing that.

The advice I gave him wasn't bad per say. He needs to know that his 300-500 dollars would be best spent by buying Xrumer. Save up a couple more hundred, buy Xrumer and buy a couple domains.

That is the fastest way to earn money in my opinion. Peace.

He also said that he's confused as hell by everything. He said he tried clickbank as if it's in the past sense and he didn't say anything about what his problems were with it. He also said he didn't have a clue what anything thetvnun had suggested even means. If he didn't understand those suggestions then I'd imagine he's not at a knowledge level to get much help from something like xrummer.

Again, like I said Xrummer isn't a magic bullet. It can be very effective, but only if you have something worth promoting. Before telling people they should buy xrummer, I think it's more important to find out if they even have a site worth promoting with it. If someone has failure of a website regardless of how much traffic they get, then it doesn't matter how many xrummer blasts he makes. He's still not going to make any money. Once he gets a project going that has a decent conversion ratio then he can make money even with just manual linkbuilding. Once he knows it's making a little money, then it's worth automating everything.

If someone already has xrummer from previous projects, then they might as well use it when they start new projects. But if they don't already have it then there isn't any reason to buy it at the start. That's why I said it'd be like putting the cart before the horse.

Xrummer isn't "the fastest way to earn money". Xrummer doesn't earn you a dime. Whatever your selling or promoting is what makes the money. Xrummer just gets the traffic to that sales page or offer, and since it's SE traffic it's only even going to do that if he's in the right niche. If he's in a too competitive niche and targeting too competitive keywords then he can blast away and still not get the results. Definitely a good thing, and if you already know how to set up good salespages then it can really make a difference in how much you can make. But you have to already know how to do that first part, which is have a website that will convert. That's the place the OP is at right now, once he gets that dialed in then Xrummer may just be the ticket he needs. Until then it would be a waste of money.

    edit-
And I also see that while I was typing my previous reply (that you quoted), the OP also replied back to you pretty much what I was saying. He doesn't even have anything to build backlinks to yet.

This is the nicest and most helpful I have seen people on here(in a long time) respond to a noob asking for ways to make money. Goes to show you that if you write a sincere post stating that you have in fact tried a method or two and failed...people will give you some help. I learned this along time ago around here and got some legitimate assistance from a few people here. Not everyone is a bitter asshole at BHW. Nice work for the people that took the time and wrote thoughtful posts with real methods!

Hold on a minute. Reading more wasn't actually the advice for once. LOL

You can read forever and never take action. Or you take some action and learn as you go. It sounds like you already started on that path so don't head on off back to the reading yet.

Give us some answers to the questions I posted in my first reply and then maybe we can guide you to the best areas you need to be doing that reading up on. If you didn't have a good product then niche research is what you need to be focusing on. If the problem was traffic then GooglesMostWanted is on the right track. Maybe not necessarily jumping right in to buying xrummer, but definitely working on ways to get the traffic you were lacking.

You might have been on the right track with your last effort and just gave up when you should have been just tweaking your plan a little bit instead.

    edit-
@bayshorekid - the reason is that the guy wasn't acting like a noob begging for people to tell him how to make money. When people get flamed for "help me" thread, it isn't because they're new it's because they didn't take time to look through the forums first to learn what type of questions not to ask. There's a difference between being a newbie or being a noob. We're all new at some time, and as long as someone takes the time to try learning something and then asks a question narrowed down to some topic that they're having problems with then people are going to help. That's what the forum is actually here for. A place where we can all help each other figure out how to market effectively and make some money.

Oh here is a VERY simple way to make some $$$. Not going to make a million dollars and you actually have to get away from your PC.

    1. Sign up for CPA account
    2. Look for simple email submits for a "free trial" of an I-pad,I-phone free gift card ect.
    3. Buy a domain name that has some relevance to your FREE offer
    4. Forward domian to your offer.
    5. Make fliers (nothing fancy) keep it simple ( "Try an I-Pad Today" @ www.yourdomain.com)
    6. Post fliers EVERYWHERE, schools, Univ, car windshields ect.

This will make a few bucks and get your ball rolling to bigger and better things!

PS. I do this very thing at local colleges/ Univ

I don't have time to answer your long response for such a petty mistake I committed by overlooking the fact that he did not have a domain.

It still doesn't change the fact that the right domain and niche + xrumer = money... PERIOD.

Sometimes you have to put the cart before the horse so the horse knows what hes dealing with in the future.

That's the key to what I was saying.

    You're absolutely right,
right domain and niche + xrumer = money... PERIOD.
except that the converse is true also.
Wrong domain and wrong niche + xrummer = No Money
xrummer is just a tool to scale up something that has the possibility of success. Having the Right domain and the Right niche is a prerequisite. That's what makes the money, xrummer doesn't make the money it just scales it up.

Until he knows how to pick the right thing to promote it isn't going to help to automate the promotion.

    edit-
I'm not disagreeing with you about the usefulness of xrummer. In fact only the first couple sentences in that last reply was intended toward you, and even that wasn't intended negatively toward you. I was just pointing it out.

The rest of what I said in that long reply was intended for any newbies that think all they have to do is buy xrummer to make money. That might work for people that already have a clue what they're doing, but for most newbies they need to learn how to pick a good niche first.

Wolf, I think I would like to focus on a product or two that people need help with so I need to focus on niche research. I'll find a friend to help me put up a site, as I'm not that good of a builder, and go from there. The best advise I got tonight was where to focus and start over. I think I just got a little lost with all the information I was taking in. There is no order to any of it so one can get lost quickly. I'll figure it out. I'll spontaneously combust before I quit.

i grew up in the bay area and make a trip down there at least once a month, my family is still there. i'm in sacramento now so i'm still fairly close.

in short, i started in IM around 99-00 and started in the adult industry. made enough money to support school and food... nothing big like my buddy now who's filthy rich. i quit to pursue real estate and made tons of cash in real estate financing until the market crashed. anyways, i got back into IM last year and am making a successful living. thanks in part to a lot of reading but ultimately more action. the people i've met through bhw are fantastic and this will always be my home base.

if you want to chat more and pick my brain, feel free to shoot me a skype message. my skype name is 'scrapeboxservice'

liquid5170, Thanks for the invite. I agree there are some very cool people here. It's hard for me to ask for help. I've always been a person who had to figure things out on their own. To ask a question and get such helpful responses was pretty amazing. If you're in the Bay and need to get out for a beer I'm always up for meeting new people. Thanks again.
