    Hi Guys,

First time poster, but I am reading and you guys are geniueses!

I have an issue with a guy that tried to sue my company and then lost, but now he has started a free .weebly site and im assuming because it has weebly in the URL it has a higher DA than my site. The worst thing is it is starting to creep further up the rankings. I have done everything roganically and now the site is above my Instagram page when googling my business. it currently sits at 4-6.

This is starting to affect my business.
I have started many Social media accounts now.

Was alweays active on facebook and Instagram but now being more active on LinkedIn, Twitter. I have updated our website and started a blog with a few blog posts now, but it keeps creeping higher.

We are a construction company in case you were wondering. The worst thing is my company has been selected to be the main company on a really popular construction tv show here. We were soo good they got us back, but i feel like that marketing opportunity could be lost because of this guy.

I have asked weebly to remove but they have declined.

    Any help/ideas would be great!

If there is no SEO done for the Weebly site, you should be able to easily replace it (or, at least, push it down) with.... more Weebly (and other free high authority) pages.

    That's the idea, yes.

In some countries, especially in Europe, you can demand be removed from Google, but I think that's only for personal names, not for businesses.

Hey, in addition to all other SEO-related strategies advised above, you should also start AdWords (and Bing?) campaigns for your brand names, company names and product names, it would physically push down this weebly shit. Since it's your brand terms your CPC would be really low and overall costs would be insignificant compared to the bad advertising this weebly is doing to your business. There are also other advantages like being able to choose sitelinks, display a phone CTA, Address, customer reviews on your listing, so people don't have to scroll down to find out more.

You can contact me if you want me to help you set up this.

You probably don't want "as many weebly sites as possible" as they would likely start competing for the same spot in the SERPs, unless their content was reasonably different. A better strategy is to use different high-authority sites, in addition to weebly (think blogger.com, wordpress.com, Facebook page, Twitter account, etc.).
