might have the mental effect of "MORE INFO" always seeking more AND BETER information. And Maby staring into the intellect wall as well.

Stick to what you're good at, focus on one thing completely until you master it and then go to something else. I make money with EVERY method you mentioned, it's not for slackers I can tell you that.

Like everyone says, just pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and focus. The key to making it happen will be your intent. Concentrate your efforts, and you'll figure out the best and simplest solutions to make the dream a reality, tell yourself 'yes I will!' You'll be out of the friend zone in no time.

the hard part in MMO is thinking out of the box and discovering what works.

once you found out what works, then MMO becomes easy.

Haha, I know how you feel Tman (can I call you Tman?) I feel the same way. I used to work for an agency (less than a year) and now I've decided to go at it solo. I'm just a beginner/intermediate programmer and like you, don't think I's is too dumb. I joined this site a while ago but now I've come back to actually learn. And it's like, where does the learning end?! There's so much to read and so many conflicting opinions...you don't know who to trust. And sometimes, it's not a trust issue. It's just that certain things work in certain fields and at certain times.

These other guys are right in that you have to persist. Persist in 1 or 2 niches, at least to start with. Only then can you scratch things off the works/does not work list. Niches can of course be seen as either a vertical or a tactic.

Other than that, here are my 2 deutschmarks: don't neglect people. Right now I'm making a living (barely) in a certain vertical using PPC. I have a private affiliate relationship that gives me a payout much higher than any network could offer and so it's much easier to be successful. I haven't even scaled yet. How did I meet this publisher? It's not that important. What's important is that I put myself out there and wanted to talk to people. He likes me, thinks my work is reasonably good, and now I have something profitable.

It's the same deal with networks. Get in good with some managers. Show them you're not an idiot. Show them you're cool. They'll want to help you. Get on blogs you like and make some comments here and there. Take an active interest in developing relationships. If conferences come up, maybe you try and meet these online folks. You do have to offer something, whether it's know-how or just a likable personality, but the point is that you want to interact. As long as you're not a tool or tard, if you put yourself out there, you can get a lot back.

P.S. Sorry about your girl. At least being friends is better than nothing. Hmm, I feel like I've seen that somewhere.

bro..listen...believe me, i'm not a millionaire also but to correct just one from billions of reasons you held to us ..it's just one thing : SEO ..no black hat, no itsy bitsy or anything..just focus on SEO ...and setup a nice mini site selling ebooks for desperate people ...a niche that people rarely ventures, especially if you're excell on it and have all that pics, all that 'social proof' you can show to people who are not really buying at first, but since you 'open' yourself for people to contact you to see whether you exist or not or just a simple spammer ..and wallop $$$

believe me ..enuff of ebooks and downloading stuff, that's eaten your hard disk space, day after day..STOP !! by all means...just take whatever important to you and forget all the bullshit, 10,00000 people in any forums in internet or from blogs that 'teaches you' the art of making money..

just create an ebook of anything you know will sell well with moderate searches every month and with low competition, try to make that sale page up #1 in google or yahoo and see the money rolling in ...forget about blogs or whatever CMS unless you're that fuckin genius after all ..blogs are just blogs ..they don't really focus on selling ..it's the sales page, the traffic, and some follow up with great copy that will make you money..forget affiliate if you have been 10 years marketing and making just dollars away .. the money is in your selling ability...sell your own product..believe in yourself ..

Im in same situation... after things i tried, like adsense, and cpa lead, i begin to ask myself, the question "Do i ever gonna make fucking money online?"...
I am able to create websites great and ugly designed... i know html css (and a little php enough to edit templates for wordpress to one needed for my use)
