I tried to purchase an ebay sellers account from LLyod1

He assured me that it was an ebay sellers account not just a normal buyers account

As soon as I paid him the money via paypal he sent me the login details.... then I realised that it was not a sellers account it was just a big standard ebay account

I reported the messages and now they have all disappeared from my inbox! Should this have happened?

I have filed a claim with paypal

    what else should I do?

Should i change the password on the account or what?

Is there much chance of me getting my money back?

    Thanks

You can get your money back...it all depends on how much u care about your paypal account. You can file a chargeback against paypal for the amount u paid, and get the transaction reversed however..paypal will limit your account

Man, you should have talked to him first before posting and ruining his reputation for a genuine mix up.

I thinks the complete opposite here... it would be very eaiser for OP to get his money back. Paypal does not protect the seller of virtual goods.
