I purchased a game (im not going to say the same) thinking it was real but turns out he was selling a pirated version of the game. He is selling over 200+ currently and ebay doesn't seem to care if the item is fake or not.
Due to the game being a digitallly delivered good (sent to me via ebay message), ebay did not allow refunds and the seller got away with it.
I tried leaving negative feedback but it was taken away due to the case i opened closing in seller's favor.
I really want to get back from this seller, ive tried reporting it on ebay by providing enough proof of our conversation and screenshots of the item sold to me but its been almost a month now since the report and nothing was done.
I admit i am a sore loser and i dont care if i dont get my money back but this seller has to go. How would i get him suspended or get his listing taken down?

btw i have tried contacting 'Citizens Advice Consumer Service' and they want me to send a letter to the seller but im sure the seller is using fake address and such. They will notify Trading Standards of information I have provided but nothing is done until now.

Ebay is very strict about fakes, counterfeits & pirated products. The typical "I was scammed in Ebay" story, sorry to say .... Seems like you purchased an e-book about how to play that game, rather than that game itself. So, quite obviously, Ebay declined or removed your negative feedback, and quite obviously declines to refund, with Ebay knowing well that the seller delivered what the buyer purchased as per the Ebay lisitng of the seller.

An important distinction. Hey OP is this the case? Did you buy an Ebook thinking it was something else? If so, take this as a cue and do it yourself :)

No, it was a cracked version of the game, not an e-book or whatever. The seller sent me a link of where the game can be downloaded, it was hosted by google drive. the game worked but it does not do what it says on the description and i was just not happy that the seller did not mention that it was a cracked version of the game in the description. I also looked it up on google and it turns out that it can be downloaded for free. Hence why i want to get back from this seller.

I didn't knowyou could even do that and not get your account banned. How much did you pay? Got a link by any chance?

I paid £30 for the whole bundle but now its at £18 im not sure what changed but the description is identical to when i made the purchase. It is a popular game so he is making a lot of sales, maybe 8-10 a day. I am not sure if i should be posting links here. Let me read the rules again.
Anyway i dont get why he is not being suspended by ebay. im afraid of posting it here as more poeple might start selling that stupid crack game.

Figure it out and replicate it. I thinkn you may be right about posting links here for it, but I would take this as a personal challenge.
