What if I took my writing skills to a different level. Tapping into the adult market. I noticed that there is a crazy untapped market on Kindle. People search for it yet there is really nothing there for it. I want to take advantage of it. Does Kindle take adult material? I was reading through BTB's 7 figure thread. I thought about how people like to get off quick, short story. BOOM! There is only one site but it's been dormant forever. I really want to see some income streams coming in.

So I can think of 15-20 short stories where it serves a purpose. Then what? Create a cover? Then upload them? What happens next? I am ready to jump into the Kindle market. You help me, I'll help you however I can.

Well, you can get a respected status for a book containing adult material - one example is Forbidden Flowers by Nancy Friday ... which is a compilation of sexual fantasies.

Kindle does take adult material...and there's a lot of it. Seems like everyone and their grandmother wants to write porn these days. And they're usually not very good at it.

Your idea is good, but the Kindle market is pretty well flooded. You're going to need to think about your target audience and find places to promote. I would suggest a fair amount of market research before you even begin to write.

In terms of fiction the adult niche is probably one of the most saturated.

Read the various threads here for various ways to research and see what the ranking is for the books that appear at the top of your searches and determine if it is worth doing.

If it is try to think of how you can turn it into a series. that's how you bank real money on kindle.

    Amazon allows "erotica", not porn.
However, generally it is "hidden" at a first glance. You just have to purposely find it.

    Will not work

I published a shortie and even had part Fifty shades in the title and The ebook was totally unique too not a single sale.

I even made Createspace physical copy

So I even tried to sell the book rights and nothing at all.

Publishing on Amazon Kindle is one of the most underutilized methods discussed on this website. I don't doubt you found an untapped market; there are tons on it!

If more people would sit down write, edit, and publish on Amazon, there would be way more discussion. I won't say how many "e-books" I have written, but honestly it's a goldmine and writing erotica on Amazon, you are definitely walking down the right path.

    Awesome thread about this: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/550442-guys-kindle-ticket.html

    Good Luck!

Tons of money writing erotica on Amazon IF you are a decent writer and have some basic understanding of marketing. I've got a journey going on right now to get to $500 a day from Kindle.

You have to find the right niches on Kindle

You can't just drop a book in a saturated sub-category and expect to do well

Also, you would need to get a leg up on the competition by actively recruiting people with advanced copies who can give you reviews.
