I hope, this is the right category. Sorry if not, but I have no better idea ;)

I make now Internet marketing since more then 10 years. And I live pretty good from it. But Internet is not just a nice way for me to make good money. Internet for me also means innovation, new ideas etc.

And since I'm busy with Internet, my "main brainstorming" is about making something, that will attract everyone (Internet users). And so I had an idea, which over the time became a very complex concept. And I'm not just sure that it will change the Internet like we know it nowadays. I also believe, that this will come anyway. Just that I had this idea now already. Maybe this would be the beginning for "Web 3.0" or something totally different. But exactly here's the problem.

I'm simply not "big" enough to handle this. It is something, that really must be top secret till it is launched (and before being able to do so it is also a lot of work in analyzing etc.). The right partner for this would be a company like Google as they have the resources.

And, as interesting as it is, when i say, this concept will change the Internet as we know it, it also will change things like search engine "tactics" etc.

Web 2.0 for example had cost Google much power as people not just use search engines anymore. This is also the reason why it would be so interesting for a company like Google. And as I wrote before, this will come for sure. maybe in 1 year, maybe in 5 or 10. It is just the logical way of "evolution" and developing, that Internet has to go (and will go!)

But, as big as this is - as same big are the problems for me with it. In a way it is very complex, but on the other hand so simple, that I even not can start telling anyone more in detail. Because the chance, that this idea will be stolen, is very much given.

So at least it looks like this:

    Hello Company XXX,

I have an idea that will change Internet as we know it, but i can not ell you what it is
    :baby09:

:D yes, sure the will listen to such a nobody as I be... of course they won't do so... :(

Why I write this here (on a 'blackhat site')

Very simple to answer: beside the people just trying to participate in the big Internet business and searching for ways to do so it also has those people here familar and experienced with Internet. And also very smart, as 'blackhatting' also means much brainstorming.

What would you do? I not have the money to pay just the best lawyers to make it sure for me to protect this idea. And 2 times I not have the money, if someone will use it, to fight against.

But those people and companies which can handle this I also not know and 2 times they don't know me...

I hope, when i write this, that maybe someone will have some good ideas, how to bring this idea forward. As I think (hope) there are some possible ways, I not thought about yet or simply not know...

But maybe, with some luck I also will meet the right guy(s)...

Thanks for any kind of response...

I know, it's not easy to understand, what I'm talking about and what I wrote. But not just because of my English. It's also a problem, I'm trying to talk about some anyway not easy to understand things, additionally without telling what I'm exactly talking about... huh? :D

I expected something like this, too. But anyway I also get the right pm's ;)

    Your English so Rolf.

    Nice!

Any ways, you probably need to do some small testing.

Is there any way you can try the concept on a small level and see how it works, then perhaps try looking for someone with capital to support further research and then find a smart way to market the web 3.0

OR what ever you want to call it.

Everyone has ideas, but its about those that take action and implement them that succeed.

Having said that, if you are serious and really have an amazing idea than you've got an uphill battle. Chances are you need venture capital, and in order to get that you need more than just an idea. I've never really heard of VC investing in just an idea unless it was from people with prior exits and a proven track record.

Regardless, you'll need to create a pitch deck and at the very bare minimum a mockup of what the site would look like and feel like. Also don't plan on getting any VC's to sign an NDA or non-compete of any sort. You'll need to be completely open and honest about your idea and not hold back anything. Regardless, I think you've got a lot of research to go.

    You need:

    • Presentation for investors, that includes
      • the pain
      • the solution
      • the market
      • business plan
      • go to market

    • Executive summary with same information

    • Patent in provisional stage

    • Demo version

When you have it all seek for a seed investor for investment below 1.5B or Venture Capital for investment above that number.

Your chances to get one will depend on the idea itself and your marketing skills.

    Cheers
