I have a travel website with my own photos , how can i promote the photos

    Hello ,

    I have a travel website (blog ) with my own photos of nice sceneries , how can i promote the photos , where can i submit the photos

    Other than SEO for the website:
    First (if not yet) watermark them so they don't get "stolen" and people will also know what your website is after seeing a image. Then what you could do is create a video and promote it on the video sites. Maybe promote them on travel forums? Facebook, twitter...

    Maybe deviantart, you can get yourself a nice profile there and place your website too, and even sell prints out of your best photos.

    Firestorm - which areas do you have on your site? I have 19 articles about the non-touristy parts of Phuket, Thailand for sale. Finding pictures should be fairly easy (I have a few too).

    Try constant content . c0m as I think you can upload and sell photos there with usage/unique rights/full rights at differing prices. Cross-reference your blog too on there.

    Try istockphoto.com if your photography is really good. I also have travel photos and have had a hard time monetizing them. I'm now playing with a Facebook application to make use of my photos. PM me if you'd like to know more.

    try facebook or twiter would be good for traffic ( not for a long traffic )

    also use alt tags for them to appear in google images
