So I have about 200 different domain names (mostly insurance related) that I used for my primary source of income and I use them for a few weeks on a redirect and then I move on to a different name. So I have ended up with a lot of domain names that I do nothing with and I just let them expire after their first year (got them cheap with godaddy discount codes). I dont really do much SEO because it is just a rat race with 20k guys are doing it and their is better money in other places but I would like to do something with these domain names. Is it worth the work and effort to make blogs out of each one of them and point links to one main site?

I would just run all of them through a tool like 'URL profiler' and check the metrics behind them all. You can easily bulk checked the DA and Trust Flow of all your domains and then just keep the top 20 with the best metrics behind them.

There is absolutely no point of making blogs out of them if there is no metrics behind them. If any of those domains have a DA25+ or TF25+ then it may be worth the effort to hold onto them and develop a PBN site out of them.

For a Junior Member, you are asking a very basic question...If you want to put all of these 200 domains to work as a PBN you need a lot of hostings for a start.Did you analyze a domains? If some of them have good metrics (trustflow,PA,DA,etc.) use them. Also, it sounds kinda weird , a person who spends a good amount of money to buy 200 domains, leave an option to let them expire, weird. If you can afford it, like time and money wise, this will be a hell of a PBN network.Good Luck.

Jointer he said he gets the domains cheap using coupons, maybe he's using them for some churn and burn methods and don't care to keep them after, i think any domain name can still give you a little link juice regardless of how strong is it's metrics, the challenge is how to run 200 sites and add fresh content to them to make it look legit, he can always look for different 1$ hosting providers or even cheaper which will cost him around 200$

The domain names were just redirected to our main site so I could track where marketing traffic was coming from

Are they on the same server? If not, put them all on different servers.

And another brainwashed spotted.... DA/PA and TF/CF are 3rd party metrics and don't hold any value. It's about the quality of the backlinks, a clean backlink profile and a clean site history.

I agree you shouldn't rely on 3rd party metrics to do your quality checks for you. However, I also think there is SOME value in those metrics. Maybe not for definitive decisions on domains, but as a way to sort through 100-200k domains, I don't know a better way.

You will lose out on some golden nuggets by sorting with metrics, but it's a numbers game from there i.e. you are more likely to find golden nuggets that have some of the metrics high, than low.

Check out HostNine...I signed up with them a while ago for the same reason...lots of domains, but didn't want to manage a dozen different hosting accounts.

I had kind bad experience with them, first of all ip's are shared, to host safe I would prefer dedicated id, support is super slow, data centers full, so out of 8 they provide as maximum you will be able to use 5, downtimes, slow speed, I bough biggest package and canceled them 3 weeks letter, good point that they give refund first 45 days, so you can test it for your needs completely risk free

Well, if you can develop 6-7 websites daily you will be done within a month - just try to setup some basic stuff.
Clean theme + scheduled posts (weekly 2-3 post) = more profit

Sell some on godaddy auction or even on BHW and use some for SEO purposes. And those that are the worst just loose.

    Are you kidding me ?
Google love to see backlinks inside the source code "html, php" etc. rather to a stupid comment or mention . lol
if i were in your place, i'll do 5 moves.
    1. rent a good hosting to host all those domains.
    2. build 200websites at wordpress
    3. buy autpost via rss plugin "look for one that have re-write article" or even translate via google. some plugin have both options
    4. collect some hundrend of rss and put them on the plugin for work. ofcourse add do-follow backlinks to source code of every wp site
    5. enjoy in about 2months tha google found all those websites , each website hase some thousand of post, for google this is very good. and enjoy ofcourse that google found 200 domains linked to your main site with some hundreds of uri's indexed , so some hundred of hundred of backlinks , if you know how to play it.
Google will fall in love for your site;)
ps . you'll spent about 1k dollars yeah , but you can start to beilive in 1st potition of google. at least with some keywords
