Long time no talk I hope everyone is doing well.. I've just been focusing on other things in my life like school and music. I just got a call for an interview :D It was because of this forum that I plunged myself into learning about internet marketing (not just blackhat). I now have an interview set up with an online company whose offices are in Manhattan. I hope it turns into more marketing, like PPC managing, and the like. I just want to thank BHW for engaging me in IM.. I think I'm going to be doing this for a while. Wish me luck!

PS any new guitars HaRRo? I just picked up a pristine old acoustic mahogony Washburn from the early 80s. I've only played electric so I'm havin' a sexy time with this thing.

SEO internship, not to put you down but wouldn't they just give you loads of boring link building/article writing to do?

@shm03 - I can honestly say it's all smoke and mirrors and that you're right. I used to work for a company doing 'SEO' ... it really sux.

No shit? Well I can always quit, of course... but I don't think it ends at link building. If there's no chance for me to be trained/promoted to handling a lot more of their web biz like PPC and such then I'll learn what I can of SEO and then leave... then again if the pay is good then I'll stay :D

Yeah SEO is mind numbingly boring if you do things the whitehat way.

So I did the interview, we'll see what happens.

He said link-building would be the majority of the job. That will probably consist of calling webmasters, sending emails, posting comments, I assume? I'm not looking forward to it.
