When I use my proxies with Firefox, I cannot access any site that I attempt to go to.
However, when I use the same proxies in Internet Explorer, everything works just fine.
Why would Firefox not be compatible with the proxies? I entered the proxies manually and with a switching system (problems either way)
HELP!!!!

If the proxies work in IE that shows there's nothing wrong with the proxies.

If then they don't work with your Firefox there is almost certainly something wrong with how you are configuring it and you need to review the process to find out what you're doing wrong. This should lead to what I call The Homer Simson Moment when I slap my head and go "Doh!" at the incredibly simple error I made and kept overlooking.

I've found it's often helpful to try error-tracking on a new install without all the various addons. Using the portable version of Firefox lets you set up a mini-sandbox in its own directory that leaves your existing install alone.

Hey Kid:
Sounds like a great idea. But, I am sure it is not a configuration problem, but, maybe some kind of add-on or software that is interfering.
Anyways.. I will try this soon.
Thanks

I have the same problem, I can get Ie to work and Chrome but not Firefox. I tried to reinstall firefox but it was as useful as tits on a bull, I believe it may be an add on that is interfering because when I got some add ons that updated that's when everything went hey wire. But this fixed it if you are happy not to have a proxy

Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings. Then simply tick a ?No Proxy?.

Hope this helps

I too am having the same problem.

Some time my proxies work, but they stop working after a few minutes.
They work correctly in Internet Explorer, though.

Try create a new firefox profile, that resets most stuff to default.
