- Use ahrefs.com, and double check how high your anchor text percentages are. Is there a lot of diversity in your anchor texts or not? If not, you've probably been hit by Penguin.
- Alternatively, look at your .htaccess (or web.config if you use iis7), and check nothing stupid has been added which could be harming your site. Check your headers too that you don't have canonical issues or similar. If this is the problem, you'll have probably have had the "penalised" page deindexed. If it is still indexed, but just ranks lower, you probably have a penalty of some sort.
- Have you got links which may have been devalued? Ie have you got links from a private blog network which has just been deindexed, hence you'll have lost dozens of strong links overnight.
- Finally, this could be a dance. Have you built a lot of backlinks lately in one go? You may find it shoots back up.
thank you for your replay,
