A few days back I went to a startup meeting, and a lot of people were interested in SEO services. I have a few meetings lined up but I don't know anything about client seo. I actually just want to focus on niche websites, is there any way I can profit but not have to do the work? How do you charge clients? I am not confident about how much I can improve the keywords, what kind of guarantee do you guys give?
    Thanks

IMO Your best bet would be to learn as much as possible about seo ASAP so You can make an impression that you actually know something. Sell the hot leads to a SEO company or outsource the job.

Other way could be contacting seo company before the meeting, telling them that you have hot seo leads that need closing. Agree on a commission and go to a meeting with their expert. That's a bit easier and safer way.

I know a lot about SEO, have been doing this for quite sometime. I just don't want to do client SEO. I will try to find someone who I can get that deal on.

When it comes to SEO, I don't make any promises or provide guarantees. I let my clients know what I can and cannot do right from the start and tell them that I'll try my best to improve their rankings. However, I like to under-promise and over-deliver, and because I'm very selective about who I take in as a client (in other words, I only choose to work with someone I know I can help), I'm usually confident that I can improve their rankings and their business.

By "How do you charge clients?", do you mean what payment system do I use? Most of them pay through Paypal and one of them pays through Chase Quickpay for some reason.

If you really don't want to work with clients (I wouldn't blame you), do what techn1k said and sell the leads to an SEO company. Just make sure you sell the leads to a reputable company who'll take care of them to avoid screwing anyone over.

There are literally TONS of seo services in the marketplace that can offer you white label reports. Go that route and start learning, then do it yourself.

Lol. Why would you do that? At least know what your service is, before you meet a client to pitch it to them.

If you really want to keep these clients, pitch them your strengths. Focus on the niche website stuff. Tell them the SEO stuff will be handled by a "sister department", and then show them some fancy graphs. Business people like graphs.

If you don't want to do client SEO then just sell them white label services.
Several sellers in The Marketplace offer a white label reselling service.

When providing SEO to clients, you shouldn't really provide any guarantees, because it doesn't really make sense to. Choose SEO packages and white label stuff from the marketplace, add a reasonable markup that would justify the time you invest and go to the meetings prepared. If you don't feel like even doing that, just meet the people, share some knowledge with them and point them in the right direction and be a friend. As far as I've seen, startup guys tend to appreciate and then return favors like that and many of them have other knowledge to share. But it would be much better to make some money while helping them and they will probably still appreciate it.

For the startup, you must have knowledge of SEO.. It's better to visit Marketplace and learn everything especially White Hat SEO.

    Good Luck!!
